Located about an hour from Mt. Rainier Park. Access highway to park is narrow/winding with low trees and had more than my fair share of branches hitting top of coach. First site (lakeside) approached by circling camp narrow dirt road, trees. Backed into all dirt site. Slight view of lake when in coach but at camp level lake was barely visible. 50 amp service was defective. My rig surge protector turned off twice. Owner stated previous guest had problems but stated thought it was their coach. Not the case! Had to move to another site (which was unlevel). Gravel on site, small patch of weedy grass. Generally grounds are well kept; should spend more time landscaping sites than public grounds. Exiting sites was impossible in 45' rig. Had to sideswipe a bush to exit and scratch clear coat. Complained to front desk was told there is another exit but no signs no map directed me there. Daughter of owner was very nice but the owners took little interest nor resolved any issues. Walked around and complained a lot is all I saw. Would not stay here again.

Upon check-in was a long line of folks. Lots of new people at the front desk. Got me my assigned site and I drove here with tow and the sites were so close and trees so low that i would have torn my 45' rig up even without the tow. Went back and was assigned another spot at the lake which was very tight between two trailers and their tow vehicles. It was about 3 feet too long. I asked for one of the other sites and got it; it fits but not level. Hookups are satisfactory. Lots of dust - kids enjoying themselves. Nobody enforces the quiet time with the kids - so we just put our a/c on and let the white noise drown it out. We didn't use restrooms nor laundry. Already planned exit and used a tree trimmer to trim down a low branch about 10' off the ground.

Finding parks parks with access for 45' motorhome in the Napa/Sonoma area is limited mostly due to public road access. California DOT limits a lot of the local roads to 40' or less without a tow. Butcher Creek is right off the 101 and although the access road is via neighborhoods, the owners of the park regularly trim trees . Their private access road although steep is very navigable even with a tow. Once you get up you're in a little gem of an RV resort. the overnighters circle the pool, and giant trees provide some shade but not total. Access / maneuverability in park where nightly/weekly spots are are easy to get into. 50 amps reliable. Satellite is sketchy due to trees but tried twice to connect and second time found all satellite connections. Wi-Fi strong and reliable and free. Local shopping about mile away in Cloverdale. The Healdsburg area of wineries is about 10 miles away but no parks there especially for 45'. Would stay here again when in the area.

Fairly plain park. Did have a restaurant but didn't use, as we had a lot of food from a recent Costco trip. Tight corners: the tow did go through some sites corners to make the turns. Once to our spot (was escorted), most of area around the coach was dirt/gravel. I fit in a 45' but the tow car sat on neighbor's grass. Unhooked and repositioned as I don't think I could make it out with the tow anyway. Close to highway, road noise: turned the ac fan on to white noise the highway noise. On the plus side, the Internet was perfect. High speed and got on in a flash. Had 2 sewer connections in case one wasn't close enough. All connections were easy and reliable. Shopping mall located about 4 miles down the road. Spent the afternoon and evening there, then stocked up at Walmart about 10 minutes from the mall.

Great park with easy check in. The folks were very friendly. Offered assistance for some sights in the local city. Big rig friendly. Most of the rigs /trailers were new and large. Had plenty of room and hookups were easy. Navigation through park was also very easy with wide turns and wide sites. Only negative was I was parked on the far end of the lot close to a meadow: quite a few mosquitoes so spending time out doors was 'itchy'. WiFi was awesome. A strange comment but the water was really good. Filled up our containers with it as it was clear/no chemical taste. (We use a large refillable 3 gallon container for drinking water.)
