Geared more towards the permanent camper. Made reservations but was sent to three sites that were already occupied. Office staff were very friendly but a little confused. Needed full hook-up because they do not have a dump station. Had to settle for a non sewage site but they did provide a clean out wagon at our departure because vacated sewer sites were inaccessible to our MH. Had to prune small limbs from top of site to exit. During stay methane odor was overwhelming at times from neighboring sites. Golf cart traffic was exceptionally heavy late into the night. The pool was very nice, the sites are all pretty shaded, and the store fairly well stocked. The campground is gated.
Sites are long and easily accessed, but void of any shade or cover. Campground is well maintained. 50A is available and was confirmed true 50A. Staff is very friendly, store is lightly stocked, but a Wal-Mart is close by. Pool was very nice and clean. All the river sites appear to be occupied by permanent campers. Sites are fairly level with turf surface. Trees have been planted but are several years from providing shade. We'll probably return but in the late fall when it's cooler.
Absolutely the nicest place we've stayed, we spent 5 nights. Only one leg of the 50A connection worked so we adapted to 30A, no problems. This is a truly nice park, we will definitely return. If you have a Senior Pass you can save 50%. Weekends are a little crowded, but it's understandable. The sites are large, and most are fairly level. There are only a couple pull through's, but we had no problem with a back-in. The Park is gated, and the Hosts/Attendants are very friendly and helpful.
