The campground is nice but the road leading to it is terrible. It is about 8 miles out to the interstate and it is a narrow and hilly 8 miles! There is one curve that you can almost read the license plate on your own camper when you go through! The sites are very nice and the water is very pretty. The waterfront sites are primitive or electric only. The inland sites have water and only the front section has sewer. Cell phones will not work there! Most sites are level and the water drains well in a hard rain. I would probably rate it higher if it wasn't such a pain to get into and out of.

This campground is excellent. I don't know of a bad site on the property. The pool is great and the staff are friendly and helpful. The store is well-stocked and the laundry and restrooms are clean. There is so much to do and see in the area. Most sites are level and have depth to accommodate a large motorhome. Plenty of grass on each site and room between campers.

Greenbo is a pretty campground. They have a friendly staff, but the grounds are in need of some upgrading. Most sites have a paved pad about 10-12 feet in length. Some sites have no pad at all and mud is an issue when the rains come. This park was one of the most popular in the seventies, and still draws quite a crowd. It has great potential if the state make a small investment.

Carter Caves is our favorite of the campgrounds in our local area. We stayed there during the annual Halloween Weekend. Though the weather was bad, the festivities were not spoiled! The staff are wonderful there and they went all out to make everyone's weekend packed with fun. The restrooms are clean despite the large volume of use. The park is absolutely beautiful! Everything is within walking distance of the campground.
