This park felt more like a mobile home park than an actual RV park. There is 168 sites but only a few are actually available for campers. The sites are small and we found it difficult to back up a 30' unit into the spot. The pool was closed most of our stay due to chemical problems and due to them putting in a new water system found our water supply shut off a number of times. Our spot was nice though, as there was a creek running behind us and it was quiet. Unsure if we would return.
We stayed here for one night on our way to South Dakota and on our return trip back to Alberta, Canada. What a beautiful campground. It was very well looked after. The washrooms and showers were clean and well stocked. The swimming pool and hot tub were wonderful. Our only disappointment was not being able to stay longer. We would strongly recommend this campground to anyone and will return on future visits to the States.
This was our first trip to this campground and it was fantastic. It was central to everything we wanted to see, including Crazy Horse Memorial, Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. We stayed in the Ranch Camp section and found the sites very roomy and level. The campground in all was very clean, well looked after and had a lot of amenities for the whole family to enjoy. We would strongly recommend this campground to anyone and look forward to returning.
