We made a reservation a month ahead of time. When we arrived there was no one in the office and we drove around the campground until we spotted an RV that said check in here. The park was seemed to be full and all the nice sites were taken. The person called the manager and they could not find our reservation or even remember we had made one. The lady had us follow here while she searched out a vacant spot for us. It was overgrown with weeds and on and end of a row next to a few old rigs in different stages of repair. She told us they might have a better spot in a day or two as some folks might be leaving. Well, we left and hunted up another place to stay the two weeks we had planned on. Don't waste your time on this one.
After leaving another park due to poor conditions we found this one and it is really nice. Had a lot of laundry to do and their laundry room was excellent. Lots of choice in the spots available. There are many long time folks here but they come and go and use the park as a weekend place for their families. Very friendly staff and helpful too. The only thing to remember is the power pedestals are at the back end of the back-ins. So you need a long cord. I had to get some cable and make mine longer, 40 ft. But overall it is quiet and very clean and off the road. All the sites are paved with a paved patio on the side.
The owners of this KOA go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. The park is very clean as are the showers and rest rooms. We did not use the laundry. Good electric and water. When we arrived at 5 PM we were asked if we wanted to join in a prepared dinner by the camp hostess (owner) for about $9 per person. We said "YES" and enjoyed a really good Pot Roast dinner with all the fixn's. If you need a good nights stop over give this park a try. You won't be disappointed.
The park is a bit dated, but clean and away from the noise of the highway. Our host was extremely nice and put us right at the top of the ridge so we had a wonderful view of the rolling hills to the south. Quiet is the key word here, very quiet and a view you will enjoy. Power and water were very good. Combine this with excellent WIFI and you can't go wrong. The laundry offered two washers and two dryers of good size. We enjoyed our stay of five days to visit the Ozark area and Eureka Springs and Harrison. I would go here again if I come to visit this area.
