Very nice, level concrete pads (we stayed on a "premium site"). Plenty of space between sites. Staff was very friendly. Gorgeous view of the lake. Cable worked perfectly and still had a great satellite reception. Only two drawbacks were that you had several toll roads to go through to get to this campground and there was a large ditch that had standing water that, if the wind blew in the right direction, had a distinct odor. Other than that, the campground was great!
Very nice RV park. All sites were paved, fairly wide and very long with a nice picnic table. Laundry facility was nice and they even had a workout facility. They had a nice pathway to walk your dogs or take a stroll. Very clean park. Would definitely stay here again.
Very neat working ranch. The road was a little rough coming into the camp and the sites were a little too close together. However, the electric worked great. Sites are gravel with weeds for grass. The restaurant was very nice and the food was great, if a little expensive. Plently of things to do if you have children. Would stay here again.
Park is still being built, but none of the sites that we saw were extremely level. They were all gravel and when you put your jacks down, it is soft ground, so the gravel shifts and you don't get an accurate leveling. Also, some of the sites have the water/sewer/electric on the wrong side. The laundry facility only had one washer/dryer and there were no bathroom/shower facilities. Sites were fairly large and wide. Owner was very nice. Nice view of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. Wal-Mart within 1/2 mile. Would probably stay here again, as the other RV parks that we saw in the area were like parking lots with about 6 inches of space between the units.
Very tight maneuvering. Slabs were extremely close to hookups, if you are in a big rig. Entering and exiting sites was extremely difficult. The roads were in poor condition. Too many seasonal guests that made "additions" to their site. Owners need to decide if they want to be a campground or a trailer park. Laundry facility was nice, with fairly new machines, however the walkway to it was poorly lit at night. Pool and hot tub looked nice, as well.
Very accessible location to all the San Antonio sites. City bus stop is right outside the main office and will take you wherever you need to go. We were not able to stay at the premium site, so ours was a little tight for a 40' big rig. Your neighbor was almost on top of you. We had to unhook our tow car and it was parked pretty much in the street in front of the RV. The laundry facility was very nice and the managers/owners were very friendly and helpful.
