This is a very nice, quiet park. There is lots of room between the sites. The pool and hot tub are well cared for and the workout room is excellent. The only negative would be the Wi-Fi is on the slow side and the sewer hookups are a bit inconvenient. This is our second visit here and we will come again. We stayed for a week.
The park is OK. It is clean and quiet. However, for the nightly rate of $46.27 (after Good Sam discount), we feel it was overpriced because we still had to buy cable TV and Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi was not very strong.
This is a good park to stay at on your way through. The gravel sites are level and the management is very friendly. The Wi-Fi is fairly fast. The downside is that you are close to I-10 so there is traffic noise (ear plugs can be your friend!) Easy access off the highway and back on. We would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay here. In the summer it will be beautiful with all the trees. The sites are concrete pads and level, our site was pull through. Gentleman who checked us in, was friendly and helpful. The only negative was the Wi-Fi was slow. We paid $40 after the Good Sam discount. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a very basic campground but the gravel pads are level and it is quiet (there are lots of trees around). The Wi-Fi is the best we have had since we left home at the beginning of November. The couple that own the park are very friendly. This was a one-night stop over for us and we could come here again.
This was a pretty basic park, however, it was good value for the two nights we were there. The Wi-Fi was through an outside carrier. The service was easy to hook up to ($4/night). The pads are gravel and weren't that flat. The camp is about 3 miles South of town.
This was our second visit to this park: we stayed for 2 weeks. The park is clean and the residents are very friendly. You can be as busy as you want to be here! You have to subscribe to Wi-Fi through an independent company. The only downside we encountered was the fact we had to place a $200 damage deposit (refunded when we were leaving). I am not sure how you could damage the pad we parked on.
The owners of this resort were so helpful and friendly! They advised us of all the sights to see in the area and great places to dine. The resort has level sites and good services. Wi-Fi was fast. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.
When you come off the Interstate take the street in front of Smith's gas station rather than using the street address (as the street address on the web site will take you an entrance that is now blocked off). This is a very nice park - quiet, clean and the hosts are very friendly. The parking pads are gravel, however, are flat and easy to access. Connections are good but wifi can be a bit slow. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. We stayed for a week while exploring the Zion National Park. Our fee was based on staying for a week and incl taxes.
This is a good place to stop when traveling through. Get here early as the place will book up by mid afternoon (lots of snowbirds stop here). No water connection, however, may be because of the time of year. Wi-fi was good. Lots are fairly level and easy to pull through.
Nice level parking pads. Wi-Fi was available and reliable. The casino is a short walk away (you are not parked in the casino parking lot). We stayed here overnight only but it was a great place to stop.
This park is going through an upgrade with the building of an indoor pool, which will be a nice addition. Park is clean with lots fairly level. Wi-Fi at the main building only. Some noise from highway, however, quieter due to the trees. We were pleasantly surprised with this campground and would stay here again.
Very clean, quiet campground. Good Wi-Fi connections. Lovely walkway along the river just outside the park gate. Sites are level and there is a little patch of lawn at every site. Would definitely camp here again. Our rate reflects Good Sam discount.
Site was level but sites were a bit close together. It was not an issue for us, however, if the campground was full, it would be a bit tight. Although it is fairly close to the #1 Hwy, the sound is not bad at all. Good overnight spot.
Clean park. Seem to be a fair number of permanent residents. They have a gym and common room as well as a pool table. Pool/hot tub were not open at this time of year, but the area looked well cared for. Level sites and we did not have any problems maneuvering around in the park. Nice level sites and grassy areas as well. We enjoyed the Air Museum and downtown McMinnville which are very close by. We would come back again.
Very clean park and friendly people. Paved parking pads but some require leveling. Nice grassy areas, Wi-Fi good. This park; however, is very expensive for what you receive even with the Good Sam discount. There seem to be a lot of permanent residents.
Nice campground. They recently had a storm which resulted in some tree damage; however, it appears as though a fair amount of work has already gone into clearing the affected sites. You are about 1 mile from Newport and there are a lot of things to see in the City. Just a short walk to the ocean. We stayed here in a motor home and will stay here again.
Very clean park and friendly staff. The pool area is very clean and well maintained, however, the pool is not heated which was very disappointing as the pool area is so inviting. Wi-Fi coverage is good. No cable TV, however, they have a great dvd collection in the resort office that you can rent for $1/night.
We stayed here as our friends are winter residents in the park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everyone in the park is very friendly and there are lots of activities. It was nice to see people so active! If we were wanting to settle in one place, this would be one of the top parks we would choose. The only negative of this park would be that pets are not allowed on the street. You have to put them in a cart to take them to the dog area. It does seem a bit drastic, however, we assume that those who do not pick up after their pets have made the implementation of this rule necessary.
Very quiet park. Some nice hikes in the area. My husband tried fishing, however, is convinced there are no fish in the River! The sites are level and the campground staff/hosts are very friendly. Nice shade in the sites. We would definitely camp here again. Reservations are recommended as this is a popular campground. You are about 10 minutes from Lake Havasu, and about the same from Parker.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this park. It is very clean and the people here are friendly. We did not use the pool, however, did use the games room and it is very spacious. There is Wi-Fi in the main building. So nice to camp at a place where they have soft water!!! We love this area - it is quiet and close to so many local sites. We will definitely stay here again!
Friendly staff. Sites are level (gravel). Fairly close to highway but traffic noise was not an issue. Used the laundry facilities which were in good working order. We were there for two nights. Note: water pressure is very high so you will need a reducer. Would stay here again.
Very nice park. Private sites that are fairly level - gravel pads. The park is very quiet. Wi-Fi has a mind of it's own with intermittent service, however, we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We would stay again. While here you must visit the Gila Cliff Dwellings.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The artesian well fed pool is definitely an experience. It is like they have built a pool around a pond & you have the opportunity to swim with fish, ducks and turtles. The campground is very well cared for and it is easy to get in and out of. Staff was very friendly.
This would be a 10 except for the train noise at night. They have an Observatory and a nightly program which gives each person some viewing of some amazing celestial sights. We were just passing through, however, thoroughly enjoyed our short visit.
