This is what all campgrounds should be like. Generous sized spaces under a canopy of trees. Grills and fire rings, some spaces even had small smoker-style bbq's. Lovely marked trails along the river. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with us, but would stay here again if given the opportunity.
Planes, trains and automobiles, it's not very quiet. Typical KOA, tight lots but level and clean. It is downtown, so handy for site-seeing. The staff was very helpful advising us where to park to catch the trolly line to the French quarter. They have a shuttle, but it goes in at 9am, back at 5pm - too long of a day for us. A good choice to see New Orleans.
One of the nicer Florida State Parks. Quiet and the spaces had some room. Beautiful area despite there being no water in the falls at the time we were there. Small campground, but clean and nicely maintained. A side note - the nearby town has all the basics, including a Walmart, but this is a "dry" county. If you want something other than beer to drink, bring it with you.
