This is the only park on the ocean in Destin. That is the only reason to pay the $100+ per night. Try to get a spot closest to the beach along the sides. The spots near the highway weren't as nice. The spots are very close with no landscaping in between for privacy. Pools were very clean, nice, with perfect temp. Bathrooms were very clean with nice hot showers. We were steps from the beach, which was a plus. The breeze from the ocean helped keep the 'no-see-ums' away. Staff was nice, 1/2 mile from outlets, big campground. I would have rather stayed at Topsail in a site in the 100's -very nice sites but not on the ocean.
New/Fresh/Clean. Showers/bathroom/grounds were immaculate. Concrete sites no privacy. Great place to park the RV while enjoying the beautiful Grand Canyon. Easy wide access with good turning radius to sites. Need foliage for privacy. Friendly staff. Well merchandised/clean store/check in. 1 hr from Grand Canyon. If you want a destination park in the wilderness I would stay at the RV Park at the Grand Canyon. Close to freeway but no freeway noise. The train is loud once in the middle of the night. We would definitely stay here again.
Off the beaten path through rough neighborhoods with a gauntlet of stoplights. Older property with tight spots, low trees, no privacy. Old/dilapidated power, no 50 amp for long pull through sites. Evidence of full timers with 30-40 yr old Trailer homes & really old travel trailers. Potential good fishing, bring bug spray. Friendly staff. Clean/well merchandised store/check in area with ice & drinks. We would not stay here for a destination park. Would rather stay in a Wal-Mart parking lot for en route travel - especially for expensive rate & dirty power.
Friendly/helpful staff with beautifully maintained grounds. Sites are on St. Augustine grass. Neighborhood is nursery/farms, rather rural. We stayed here drive into Miami for meetings. I wouldn't stay stay here for a destination park, but its a good place to stay. Good access to the north keys. There are no restaurants within walking/biking distance, you need a car.
#3 RV Park in the US was the nicest RV park we have ever stayed. Staff was fantastic. Touch location if you drink in Key West - 20 min drive. Great location in the Keys. Need a car as there are no restaurants within walking/biking distance. Pool/bathrooms/facilities were perfectly clean. Try to get a full concrete pad. Most sites had great privacy thanks to the meticulously maintained foliage. The tiki huts & docks at each site was fantastic. Storage area provided for your trailer. This is a high end park with high quality RV's. You pay for and get the best. We loved this park & look forward on staying here again.
Older section to the west, newer section for big coaches to the east. Older section: well established, a bit tight turning radius's - but nice foliage & shade. New section: concrete pads, nice pull through design for up to 45 ft RV's, needs Foliage for separation/privacy/shade. Staff is 10/10 - Super friendly, professional, welcoming & positive. Great clubhouse offering free carb oriented breakfast, with clean pool. We would definitely stay here again. Easy access to freeway. About 5 mins West from Albuquerque.
This site is very clean, has great bathrooms/shower, great hosts, and a wonderful location. The only negative that it may have is that if you have anyone whom cannot walk very well it is a bit hard to make it down to the dock. Its a bit of a steep but short hike from the camp grounds - though much shorter than most RV parks in this area. This is hard with a handful of boating stuff, ice chests, kids, & toys. The docks are kept very well maintained.
This is a humongous RV & camping park. It was super tight & rigs were on top of one another. The location is fantastic - in the heart of Mission Bay. The amenities were great with Market, ice cream, BBQ, beach & more. We left a day early because it was very crowded and the sites were too close to each other. The place was clean. Pictures on website look way better than in person.
