Very nice park, We stayed in a pull through site on the lighthouse point and had nice room between sites. Also every site has small pine trees between sites. The shuttle was always running, just had one morning they showed up very late (had to walk) to get in at the early in time. The park noise wasn't that bad, thought it would be louder. The only bad thing was the bathroom/showers. They only have 4 bath/shower rooms for the whole section of the lighthouse point, had to wait at times, plus people at the pool use them also. Showers are bathtub with showers. They were somewhat clean. We would stay here again next year.
This park is on a hill, but the sites are fairly level. Has a very nice, large pool. Also has very clean showers, although you have to pay (50 cents will get you plenty of time.) Nicely landscaped and has great trails in the woods for the kids down by the river. Best of all: very friendly owners.
We stayed here for 3 nights. Our site was by the main activity area. There was very high golf cart traffic at this campground which made it almost dangerous to walk or ride bikes. The noise was another factor which made our stay miserable. The bathrooms/showers were clean when we got here Friday, but by Monday they were very dirty, never cleaned all weekend. Trash cans were overflowing and scattered on the floor. On a good note, State Park right down the road has a great bike trail 11 miles long. Good fishing nearby also. Not sure if we would ever come here again.
