Great quiet park. Level sites. Close, easy access to River Walk. Great bike and walking path along River Walk. Electric hookup on opposite side of RV, so be sure to have plenty or spare power cord. Great water press (160 psi, so will need press regulator). Wonderfully maintained park. Kind, helpful staff. Will return. Rate reflective of Good Sam Discount.
Camp spots are extremely tight. We had more room than most due to the small size of our trailer. Rigs with slideouts and awnings had to choose which they would use, no room for both and have any spot left. Limited activity going on, with the exception of a few kids in the playground and a few swimmers in the Bayou (crushed concrete access to the water). Park is not far from the Beach and Strand. Staff is friendly. In our opinion, this is not enjoyable camping. We won't stay here again unless there is no other place available in town.
Twas our maiden voyage with our RV. Magnolia is a mature park, recently under new management (wonderful folks). Management went out of the way to assist, yet gave us plenty of privacy. The new managers are making many positive park changes. The park is wonderfully shaded with lots of oak and magnolia trees. Lots of permanent residents, but water view sites are available to rent (great) and beneath the canopy of shade trees. Full hookups, however Wi-Fi is weak. Magnolia has it's own beach on the Sound, and Navarre Beach is only 3 miles away. We escaped the crowds of Destin, etc and enjoyed the solitude of Magnolia. Big box stores not far away (Walmart, Best Buy, Lowes, etc).
