Location, Location, Location. One well lit block from the French Quarter. Felt very secure and had no issue walking back at dusk 3 nights. Would take a taxi from the French Quarter if late at night. Noise and light from city and the I-10 kept me awake, but I can't blame the resort for that. Great base camp to explore the French Quarter.
OK park. I expected it to be more high-end. The grounds are pretty un-kept and scruffy along with some of the seasonal unit's. The grounds and gardens are just weed beds. Excellent Wi-Fi albeit a little pricey at $5 a day. Actually best Wi-Fi I have found in a campground. Deluxe pull through 50 amp site's are very narrow, slide-out's are within 12 inches of your neighbors awning.
Beautiful campground location on mountain side. Nerve wracking hills and curves getting the rig into a campsite. Don't show up after 6pm as the office closes and because of curves, hills and narrow roads no late self check in allowed. You will have to stay in parking lot overnight.
