The best thing about this park is the location for ease to DC. It was very nice that the Metro Bus came to the park for transportation to the subway. The park is huge & they do an excellent job of keeping it clean and staff do a good job of giving you all kinds of information on DC. The sites are close together and not long enough these days for the big rigs and big trucks. We will stay here again if in the area.
This is a very clean & pretty landscaped park. We had an easy pull through site off of the main road. Staff are very nice & helpful with information on places to visit in the area. We enjoyed watching the buggies come & go on the main road & watching the farmer across the road. Amish girls come to the park selling their baked goods which are so delicious. We would stay here again.
This is an excellent state park campground. Sites are huge & well spaced. The visitor center is nice & there are good walking trails. Restroom & showers were very clean. Camp host responded quickly to a problem that I brought to her attention. This is a good location for visiting the National Park. It is a very peaceful place to camp. We would stay here again.
