This is a very nice campground. Large, level sites with the right number of trees. The owners lead you to your site and make sure you are comfortable before leaving; the give trash bags and recycling bags and pick them up each morning. Although the bathrooms are older, they are clean and comfortable. Bailey's Harbor is a small town and there isn't much to do, but it's very close to the other towns in the area and I would definitely stay here again.
This was our second visit and we will continue to go back. The hosts are great and super friendly. The new sites are large and level, but unfortunately there aren't any trees. Luckily the weather was really nice and shade wasn't needed. Although they don't have a real "dog run," they have a 19 acre field (fenced in) that they allow dogs to run off leash, which is 100 times better than a small dog run. The pool was cool, clean, and all to ourselves, and the showers and restrooms are clean as well. They are new Good Sam's members too.
I wanted to rate this park higher, but the location of Highway 54 kept it at a 7. The noise is continuous and since expanding the highway, it's probably only gotten worse. The restrooms and showers are really old and need to be updated, however are close to the pool. I was expecting the pool water to be warm, however it was awesome. Apparently they pump water in from the underground spring. It was so refreshing. On the other hand, the deck around the pool needs some attention. Some boards are loose, while others and falling about. The sites are a decent size, Wi-Fi comes and goes, cable is available, and the boat dock/ramp is available. The swim pond had dried up, but we haven't had any rain in many weeks, so I can't really blame them. We may adventure a stay somewhere in the area before returning to Riverview.
We arrived after office hours and found an after hours number to call. The very nice lady told us just to find a spot and get settled and we would check in the next morning. Great dog run, which was kept clean. Easy access to the highway, without the highway noise. Large level concrete site was fantastic! Showers and restrooms were very clean. I am bummed because we were only there for about 10 hours; just to sleep. The reason I didn't give this a 10, is because I wasn't there long enough to check out the pool. I wanted to stay another night but we were on a schedule. Will definitely stay here again!!
This park is literally right off the highway. Our RV shook many times when 18 wheelers rode by. There were many run down RVs living at this park, which was fine for an overnight stay. The restrooms and showers appeared clean, but we did not visit the pool. The site was level and a good size, but we would probably drive a little further to stay somewhere nicer in the future.
This is a really nice RV park with many friendly people. We stayed here a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities we very clean, however the pool was a little dirty. They have a nice lazy river which was enjoyed by many, but didn't feel crowded. The staff was friendly and showed us to our spot, which was level and a decent size. We had a site right in front of the lake, which was delightful to look at. We would definitely stay here again.
We checked in on a Friday afternoon and stayed until Monday. It wasn't peaceful until Sunday evening when all of the "residents" went to their other home. Children did not ride bicycles, they drove golf carts. I must have seen at least 40 go by (many of them multiple times) throughout the day on Saturday; nobody walked anywhere. It is a very large park, however there are only a few nightly rentals spots, all the others are seasonal. The site was level and large, but we didn't get Wi-Fi. We would probably stay here again (during the week).
