I don't think we would return. The sites are very close together and seemed run down. The picnic tables at the sites would be better suited as firewood they are so rickety. Of course they don't allow fires of any kind so it wouldn't do any good. Also don't be fooled by "front lawn" sites. These are not pull-throughs. And front lawn means closest to the entrance of the park so you have traffic noise. The park does have a beach but it really isn't for swimming, too full of weeds. Unless you're a fisherman who doesn't mind sharing a small lake with boaters and skiers then this probably isn't the park for you either.
We have stayed here for the past couple of years. Though it is crowded it is a nice campground. Close to the lake and town. Very clean and well kept up. I would say the only down sides are there is no swimming pool, no laundry facility and the showers are pay showers so it takes about $1.00 to have a shower.
This was like camping in a parking lot. It was so crowded - I will never camp here again. The sewer dump at the site next to ours backed up and they finally came to fix it, then sprayed down our entire site with a hose creating giant stinky mudpuddles that were there the entire 3 days we stayed. The kids enjoyed the pool but it was so crowded that they really couldn't play.
