This is a very nice place. The sites all have concrete pads to set up on. The club house and pool is great. The staff are all very helpful. The surrounding area has a lot to do for all ages. We were here with a family of four. Our kids are teenagers and they were entertained when at the RV park swimming, playing horseshoes, pool, and shuffleboard. This park has ample space to maneuver with any size rig.
This is my new favorite campground. The staff was great. It is very clean. There is a ton of stuff to do. The value is great, you get access to a water park everyday of your stay. We stayed in a pull-through site on the back side with full hookups and we had friends that stayed in down by the pool with no sewer but had a "honey wagon" come by for $6.00 a day. I would stay in either site. The beach was a lot of fun. We rented a Pontoon and had a blast. It does get tight if you do not have access to the rear entrance, but not impossible to get through at all. There are not more extra charges here than other places. If anyone has a problem at this campground, its them not the staff IMO. The store has a bit of everything including very good ice cream and homemade donuts for a very reasonable price. I will be back again, this summer hopefully. Also the campground was full and still all the bathrooms and other facilities where very clean.
The website does not represent his campground. It is not kid friendly. Very tight campsites. The owner has owned this place for about a year and is always under foot and overbearing. The seasonal campers are very intrusive, we had one peeking in our camper. Complaints are meet with a very no it all and non caring attitude. We will not recommend to our camping club or anyone else and will not stay again.
This was a very nice campsite for a one or two night stay or to meet friends. This would also be a very nice place to stay if you were in the western suburbs of Chicago for an event. It is very clean and the the staff is very friendly. There are two pools and plenty of activities. The one complaint I have is the fact that they charge for everything i.e $3.00 charge for a dog, extra car fee, ect. The nightly fee is already kind of high. Honestly for the price I will probably drive 30min further and go to the Amboy Jellystone. The only thing Millbrook has on Amboy is the full hookup sites have a concrete pad for the picnic table. I will go here again if I have a coupon or to meet friends. I camped here on a weekday and left on a Saturday, they were able to keep up with the weekend rush very nicely.
This was the nicest RV park I have ever camped. It was very clean, you park on a level concrete pad and even though you are close to your neighbor, the landscaping puts a nice barrier between the sites. It is expensive but you get discounted tickets to the parks, early entry, and a shuttle bus. It was only a five minute walk however. There was noise from roller coasters, but you at a roller coaster park, I expected that. And it wasn't that bad. We plan on going back next year and staying longer and checking out the whole Sandusky area. We left the dog at home and I was glad due to no good place to walk them. The check in area was quick and streamlined, the store was nice and stocked, and the staff friendly. Just keep in mind if you go to camper village you will pay more for stuff due to being at an amusement park.
This is a great place to go for a vacation. There is plenty of water activities for the kids, pools, water slides, lazy river and a wave pool. There are plenty of life guards and they are polite. The pond with the sandy beach was a blast. The grounds were clean, the staff friendly, and the sites were big. This was the first place I stayed with cable TV and it worked great. We did not eat at the restaurants but heard the food was good. We had a blast and plan to go back.
I really like this campground. We live about an hour away and can go for an overnight stay. It has always been clean and the pools are nice. The fishing is good too. The staff is polite and the activities for the kids are plentiful. I have to admit I have never been there on a weekend and can imagine the place can get very crowded. I would say the biggest complaint is that the snake bar is slow, overpriced and not that great. We normally cook and bring our own food however, and I have never had to buy anything at the store except for ice. This is a nice place to go for a couple of days.
