All RV Parks should look at this park as something to emulate. I am staying here for a month on business. At first it just looked like a big gravel parking lot, but then I started noticing all the attention that has been paid to details and good design. The lots are level, there's plenty of room for our Class A with 4 slides AND our car. It's very quiet. Good Verizon signal and OK AT&T signal. Beautiful bathrooms and showers, Fantastic laundry room. I love the fact that so many things are so well thought out, such as, a dump station that's level so you can empty your tanks FULLY, and you can pull up to it in a 45ft rig with a tow car attached and not be blocking traffic. The pave-stones around all the hookups so you're not standing in water. A phone in the laundry room with free calls to anywhere in the USA. RV supplies (useful ones) that you can purchase. Friendly on site staff. Walking distance to the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. For those of you that are into music history, this tri-city area helped shape music all around the planet. Music that was produced here touched us all. The niceties just do on and on. I have been full-timing for three years all over North America and I must say this is one of the best laid out and thought-out parks I have ever stayed at. And the rates are extremely reasonable. Again, I could spend a month here just taking in all the music history! The owner has a lot he could teach thousands of RV parks about design!

Loved it as it served our purpose fully. Lot 19 is huge and has a fire ring. Fog horn and seals in the background. New owners are updating the park. Good place if you want to stay on the water on HWY 1. I'm sure it's not "resort" enough for many, but that's not what we were looking for. Would definitely stay here again. Great Verizon and AT&T signal.

Big gravel lot, nothing fancy, but clean. Served our purpose. Good Verizon and At&T signal. Would stay here again.

Great if you are camping in a tent, but NO SEWER hookup. No restrooms, only porta-potties. We had terribly low water pressure, but management was working on the water system so it might be better now. We only stayed here one night instead of 4 as planned because I work and need good Verizon 3G coverage and DID NOT have it here even with my repeater system. We DID NOT have good AT&T signal either (we have both for redundancy). Nice wine country setting for a night or two if you don’t need Verizon coverage, laundry, showers, bathrooms and etc. and aren’t looking for any “resort” type amenities. I would not say here again because of the Verizon and AT&T issue.

We needed place to pull in for the night and then get up and leave first thing in the morning. The office was open till 11PM and friendly, we were escorted to the site and guided in as I didn’t want to unhook the tow car. I hooked up water and electric but not the sewer because the connection was at the rear of the tow car! Why it was so far back really baffles me. I would have had to connect at least 30 feet of sewer line and I just didn’t feel like messing with it. The park is right next to the interstate and Home Depot (which can be a plus) so it was pretty noisy. It served our purpose but when we left in the morning we drove through and looked at the park closer. I have to say it is pretty trashy, I mean really, really trashy. It had a lot of really trashy old trailers and RVs. It seems they are upgrading the park and maybe in the process they’ll upgrade their long term residents. 50 amp, good water pressure, don’t know about WiFi but had full strength AT&T and Verizon service. I’m glad we had a place to pull over and sleep but I wouldn’t stay here again unless I felt I was too tired to keep going and had no other choice. Maybe it will be better in a year or so, but it’s a Ghetto now.

We chose this park because of it’s location to the city as I had business to attend to: great location close to everything. Good staff and nice facilities. Definitely not an “RV Resort,” but if you are looking for a spot close to town for a while I would suggest this park. It is right in the middle of some commercial businesses and construction so at times it was a bit noisy, but the construction looks like it’s about completed. BEWARE: parking for a Class-A 40-footer with four slides is extremely tight unless you get one of about 4 spaces in the NEW section of the park. I was in the older section which is much smaller and scratched the side of the MH on a useless tree and then spent the whole time hooking up tripping over useless scrubs in the hookup area, then couldn’t get into any basement compartments on the driver side because of a useless decorative fence, and barely had room to park our tow car. But over all I was really happy with this park as it suited my needs perfectly. After all, I am responsible for getting so close to the tree that I scratched the MH. Maximum Verizon and AT&T cell signal, strong water pressure, and an overall clean and well maintained park. They have pay-for Wi-Fi and I see remote antennas through out the park but I didn’t try it because the signal on my Verizon air cards was so strong. BEWARE: no security at all, totally open to strangers walking into the park in the middle of the night, no fencing at all, but this seems to be a very safe area with no problems. Wonderful blackberry patch next door, so time for some homemade cobbler! You can get your mail forwarded here and they even call you each mail arrives for you. Not an RV Resort but get a large spot in the new section and you’re good to go. I would stay here again.
