This military park has 68 pull-through full hook up RV sites with 30/50 amp hookups. Biggest sites I have ever seen. Sites have concrete pads and includes a patio, picnic table, and a grill. Restroom and shower facilities and overall cleanliness of the park is among the best we have ever used. The office staff and camp host were top of the line and very helpful. Our late arrival, because of RV tire problem, was not a problem and the lady in the office called (after office hours) to check and see if she could help in anyway. We really enjoyed our stay at the park.
Very nice park, clean, easy access in pull thru site, with grass and a concrete patio with a picnic table. We camped very near the bay. Fishing available on the pier and boat launch to bay. Wifi worked great when connected, but did disconnect a couple of times a day. ATT NetGear would always work great. If you have pets look out for cockle burrs. Our dogs picked up a few while we were here for a week. Staff personnel were outstanding. Would stay here again. Since you are right on the Bay expect the wind to blow on a regular basis, but was tolerable for us. Diesel if available on base and the exchange and commissary were first class.
We have stayed at this park numerous times and never have a complaint. We always stay in one of the pull-through sites on the 2nd level down. Quietest sites are on this level. Highway can be noisy outside, but very quiet inside our 5th wheel. Well laid out and easy to maneuver into sites. Very professional management, Wi-Fi works great all the time. Clean warm facilities.
Easy to find, very friendly and helpful hosts and a great location for touring Sonoma, Napa, Bodega Bay, and other interesting things in the area. No cable or Wi-Fi, but satellite was clear. Will definitely stay here again.
As usual we really enjoyed staying in this park. We watched the Pelicans put on quite a show on the ocean, which is right in front of our site. Wi-Fi was only available if you parked very near the office. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Road construction made the entrance a little confusing, but after a day or so had it down pat. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every day. Trains make it a bit noisy, but was tolerable for us.
This is great location for shopping. Was a bit noisy outside, but was quiet inside the 5th wheel. Road construction caused a little confusion while trying to travel around the area since we are new to area. Construction is scheduled to be completed very soon. Park is very clean and professionally run. WiFi worked good. We will return and spend a few nights on our trip back west.
All pluses for this park, with one exception. While it did not create a problem because the weather was great, the sites are all dirt with some gravel. I can see that it could be a problem if it rains, but on the other hand it may never rain much in this part of the country. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Rest rooms and rest of park was very clean. WiFi worked great, good 50 amp service, and easy hook ups. Will stay here again on way back West. We only planned on one night stay, but stayed one more because we liked the park.
This is one of the Best RV Parks we have had the pleasure on staying in. Concrete sites are a little narrow, but no problem getting parked, host/owner was very helpful. Plenty of room for 4 slides and hook up was easy. Whole park is well maintained and is spotless. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and Texas A&M. WI FI always worked and is fast. We have had a lot of rain, but park has good run off and entire park is either concrete or grass. We are staying here for two weeks. Rate is $150 per week. Very good rate for the quality of the park.
Once we located the park had a great time. Follow the directions on the web site very carefully. We had a hard time finding the park, but the manager actually came out to find us. Several roads to take in make it confusing. All other aspects of our stay were 10+. Great management and staff always trying to help, including parking our 5th wheel. Tell management ahead of time if you plan to use a Sat. Dish as there are limited sites with clearance. Ours worked great. I would definitely get a reservations in the spring and summer since there are limited short term sites. This is definitely the best park in the area. We really enjoyed the park and there are tons of things to to do in the area. Will be back next winter/spring.
We were very happy with Candlestick RV Park. It is a great place to stay while visiting SF. A bit spendy, but this is San Francisco, so worth the bucks. Shuttle is very handy. Spaces are a little tight, but had no trouble with our 39 foot 5r, with 4 slides. Hook ups were all handy and clean. Management and staff very friendly and helpful. Mini Mart in the office area carried a lot of items and RV Supplies. Park has 24 hour security guards. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
Rate reflects senior discount. Very nice owner operated RV park. The owners care about their customers and it shows. Park is immaculate. Showers and rest rooms are very clean. There is easy access to most sites (back in). Strong 50 amp service, no sags. Friendly management and help. WiFi worked extremely well. Sites are very private and good sized. Let manager know if you use Satellite dish, as all the trees limit sites you can use. I would rate this as the best park in the area. If you have long rig do not try and get to Ft Bragg via CA 1. Take highway 12 ( I think) from Willits. It is steep and curvy, but manageable. We will stay here again next winter.
I have stayed here several times and never had any problems. it was a great port in a storm for us while traveling through. The park was clean and well organized. All of the amenities worked great. Checking in and out was easy. They had a Good Sam Discount. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient, as you can walk to Outlet Mall. It is just off of I5. Will stay here again.
Very nice park. Management very friendly and helpful, easy check in, lots of spaces available. Well laid out to maneuver and big spaces. Wi-Fi worked great. Only complaint was noise from heat pump or something. Our space was right above the office complex. Cable TV was not great, but they were supposed to be working on it. We use sat dish so not a problem for us.
We stayed here for three weeks this time. This is one of the best RV Parks we have stayed in. After-hours check in not a problem since there is always a manager on duty. All the amenities one would expect in a modern RV park. Wi-Fi worked great and was easy to hook up. The manager enforces all the rules and the results show. Park is immaculate. Restrooms are very warm and clean. No problems with noise, pets and or people. We stayed on the second level and appears to be best protected from highway and or train noise. We have stayed in this park several times and will return anytime we are in the Portland Area.
We stayed at the Sea Bird for 5 weeks. We always stay here in the winter. Park is mostly full-timers and is always full in the summer. Manager is very friendly and helpful. Spaces are gravel and close together, but adequate for our 39 foot Alpine. 30 amp is limiting if you use all appliances at the same time. Full-timers are very friendly and was nice to see many of the same people we have come to know over past three years. Park is actually located in Harbor and there is easy access to the beach. No Wi-Fi is a pain, but with Charter cable you can get internet hooked up by establishing your own account. We will stay here again next winter.
Great place to stay. Just as advertised. Very friendly staff, excellent maintenance. Easy to pull through and set up. Cable TV is digital and has great quality. As good as our Direct TV dish. Wi-Fi is one of the best I have used in RV Parks. Will be coming here in the future for sure.
