This park is good for an overnight. There is not much to do in the area. The sites were level and the hookups were good. The interior roads were good but the road getting to it is very rough. There was enough space between the sites. The staff is very friendly. We would stay here again.
The rate is Coast to Coast. This park is in the hill country and rather remote. The road to it is very hilly with lots of dips that potentially can flood and close the road to the park. You have to go slowly. We left the park early because a major rain storm was coming and the road probably would be closed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The park could use some maintenance, e.g., grass cutting. The clubhouse and pool are nice. The sites are level but close together. Not many RVs were in the park when we were there. It is a good idea to call ahead if you are arriving on a Monday through Wednesday since the office is closed, even if you have a reservation. We would not stay here again.
The rate is Coast to Coast. This is a large property that focuses on selling lots for cabins, etc. It is a nice property but it is about 2 miles in on a dirt road to get to the campground. The sites are nice and large and level. There is lots wildlife around. They do maintain the roads and campground well. There is very little to do in the area and the campground.
The rate is Coast to Coast which includes $4/nt for 50 amps. This is a membership park and mostly well maintained. There is not much to do in the area. The pool, hot tub, and sauna are nice. The negative of this park is that the interior roads need maintenance. They are narrow and lots of ruts and bumps. Also the map of the campground didn't match the directional orientation of the sites, however, they do escort you to the site which is very helpful. The Internet is very unreliable, which is another negative. They have a lot of activities, especially if you there on a weekend.
The rate is coast to coast. We were charged an extra $2/nt for 50 amp which is worth it. This is a small park convenient from I-95. The sites are long enough but narrow. We did not have anyone next to us, but it would have been tight if someone would have pulled in with slides. The sites are level. The owners are very nice and does good RV washings for a reasonable fee. The bathrooms need updating. It is good for a short stay. We would stay here again.
This is a well maintained park. The staff is friendly and helpful. The sites are level, and most have cement pads and are wide enough. One odd thing was (considering the park was not full at all) that we were first assigned a site that did not have a cement pad at the end of a row that would hardly have fit our RV. We asked it to be changed and it was. They probably have too many speed bumps. It is close to Charleston and many other attractions. We would stay here again.
This is a county park that is well maintained and on a lake. It doesn't have amenities other than boating. The sites are good. Many have shade. We didn't have much trouble leveling. They take reservations now on line which is a plus, instead of first come, first serve. We would stay here again.
The rate is coast to coast. This is a nice park with lots of activities, a store, and café. It is situated on a lake. The campground is well maintained, probably because they are still trying to sell memberships. The sites are level and electric and water are good. The sewer connection on many sites ran "uphill" even with a slinky. If you are interested in going to church services, you might want to check out some of the area churches since this one is not non-demoninational as it should be for a campground. We would stay here again.
This is a good park for a couple of nights. The sites were long and wide. Depending on where your hookups are on your unit, it is a good idea to have extensions. Also, be aware that there are lots of fire ants, so wear gloves when doing the hookup. Some sites are not that level. We were able to pick our own site because it was the off season. The staff is friendly.
This is a convenient park because it is close to the I-10 but you don't hear the highway that much. There was a lot of construction close by and made it a little confusing at the exit. The sites are nice and long and level. There is plenty of space between them. The park is well maintained. The staff is friendly. We will probably stay here again on the way back.
This is a good camp for a couple of nights. There is not much to do around here and the park is in an industrial area. The camp is mostly occupied by oil workers. The sites are wide enough but the roads in the park are somewhat narrow around the curves. You cannot drink the water but they give you case of water. The staff is friendly. The road leading to the park is rough but that is not their problem.
The rate is Coast to Coast. This is a very nice park. The sites are long, level, and wide with nice grass in between. The grounds are maintained very well and the staff is very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a great place to camp if you want to go to Branson and have quiet. The views are beautiful. The owners are very friendly and helpful. This was our second time staying here and would come again if we pass through the area.
This is very remote and too far off the highway for a one night stay. The road to it is dusty and not that smooth. Our vehicle and trailer were covered with dust. It was extremely windy the day we were here but that is not the campground's fault. I understand that windy is the norm here, though.
This is a nice quiet park. The views are great. The owners live on site and are very attentive to your needs. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come here again. It is very peaceful. We highly recommend this "oasis".
This is a beautiful park. However, they should invest in a generator. There was a very severe thunderstorm on the last day we were here. It knocked out the electricity and because of that it did not pump water either. For the size of the park, a generator would be a good investment. Other than that, it is a good park.
The sites on this park are too close together. It was difficult to back in because of the way the cars of other campers parked. Of all the parks we stayed in our 6 week journey, this was the worst campground, and it was the most expensive.
