Wonderful park if you want quiet and be right on the river. Dump available in the small town. Boat ramp available. Great site to watch barges up and down the river, beautiful sunsets and lots of geese. We stayed here in 42' Class A. Friendly town and very historic, too. Park is growing and improving - horse shoes going on now.

July 2008 update to July 2006 review. Fee still $15 per night. Verizon Phone service is now great and aircard operates at broadband speed, as a local cell tower has been installed since 2006. There are 4) 50-amp connections in the park (spaces 1, 2, 7,8). Swimming pool has just re-opened after being completely remodeled.

Lewis and Clark RV Resort 92294 Youngs River Road, Astoria, Oregon 97103 503-338-3386 This is a very new park on a beautiful 9-hole golf course. The RV Park is still under construction with phase 2 beginning tomorrow as I write this. Owners are very friendly. No stuffy rules here – they enjoyed our Corgi running after the ball in the parking lot. Wide paved roads, 30 - 50 - 100Amp, Concierge service available, cottages for rent or sale on the golf course. Park is about 2 miles south of downtown Astoria and close to Fort Clatsop, Fort Stevens, Peter Iredale Shipwreck, Columbia River Maritime Museum, Lewis & Clark Historical Park, and Costco. We stayed in pull in space that overlooked the golf course with water and electric. The sewer will not be in until 2008. Second phase of park will be pull through spaces with 20/30/50 amp service. The gold course is $10 for 9 holes, $20 for 18 holes, $10 electric cart - all on honor system. We enjoyed our stay at this park and will return.

Unusual rating: We did not stay here (this time) because we were traveling from the Escapee Escapade to visit family. We had to dump and every dump was locked or closed as we traveled. I called ahead and talked to Bob, who said "Welcome, just come by and dump (no charge) and stay with us next trip!" Beautiful park is not enough, and we will make a point to stay next time.

We stayed four nights (bitter cold snow storm) in 42' motor home. I agree with the previous review, plus location is great for many museums. Propane is also available on site. The staff was wonderful and we will stay here again!

Almost every RV park that we go to anymore claims that they are a "Resort". Most of these parks are 'wannabees' and are just not special. The Sparks Marina RV Park is a true destination resort park. It is immaculate. Asphalt driveways, concrete pads and the spaces between motorhomes are 'Astroturf'. Even the dog run is immaculate. Free WiFi, cable TV, escort to site, pool + spa, full hookups, every site has 50AMP, picnic table, very friendly staff, wide streets with no sharp corners, very big rig friendly. Gated pet run / area. Large laundry 11 washer + 1 large load, 10 dryer + 1 large load. Pull through sites a little short at about 55 feet total. They have that pesky no motorhome over 10 year rule. Trees still small so shade is scarce, very pricey @ $43 (8/2006) and HIGHER for special events, but you get what you pay for. Way too many rules. Sewer connections in a funny place, close to back about 6 feet from edge of pad (bring long sewer hose)

This is a very, very friendly and helpful family run park. Free Wifi and several antennas. Nice free collection of books and DVD's. Everything very clean plus fresh flowers all over. We will come back this way! This is a busy park and I recommend calling ahead for reservations.

Gravel roads and gravel pads, 30 amp service ONLY, NO CREDIT CARDS, checks or cash only, FREE Wi-Fi is available in office only, does NOT cover park. Nice staff, escort to site. Facilities are a little tired. Hard to find - N45° 48.213' W109° 57.960'. Verizon phone service is ok, but no Verizon cellular Internet access. At time of this review (8/2006), NO FIRES (including charcoal). No cable tv, antenna gets NBC, CBS. Some of the turns are a little difficult, but manageable in big rig.

We have stayed here several times in the last 4 years. The park is quite nice and not well known. Small friendly town is 3 blocks with small grocery, pub, and restaurant. Pool (during summer) and playground are adjacent to RV Park. Great overnight spot, very quiet. On the banks of the east fork of the Vermillion River. Self service, no attendant, deposit campground fee in envelope on outside wall of restrooms. Gravel roads and gravel RV pads. Water and 20 / 30 amp electric. Dump north side of restroom building. Located at 254th Street or Clark Street and River Road, 2.8 miles north of Interstate 90 @ exit 374. Follow “camping” signs through Montrose to park, which is on northeast side of town. Poor Verizon phone reception in park, but fine 6 blocks on hill to west of town. N43° 42.184' W97° 10.899'

This RV park is adjacent to and owned by Mystic Lake Casino. This casino is the largest gaming and entertainment facility in Minnesota. It is the cleanest facility we have ever been in. There are five restaurants, golf course, large fitness center, car/RV wash ($3) and gas pump (3 cents below current local price). The wash and gas areas are very large so leave your toad on and drive through. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The sport, aquatic and fitness center is $5 a day and a pass is available for the golf course at member rates. The large RV park is around a lake. The sites are different in that two rigs facing opposite direction on one pad. The grass and table are on the outside of pad. If you had someone next to you slide outs would almost touch. Most double sites in the park had only one occupant. Sorry we didn't use the laundry or restrooms. Park is nice to walk around and very quiet. Will stay here again when in the area. Concrete RV pads, asphalt roads. Wi-Fi available in the Office only. Good Verizon cell phone reception.

Great RV park. Quiet and inexpensive. More than one fly - keep your screens closed...this park is adjacent to the horse training facility and barn. Recent change in rules "NO TENTS". A little hard to find. Access street not on Delorme Street Atlas, but is on Microsoft Street and Trips. GPS coordinates of access street is: N30 23.316' W91 12.684'. Gravel roads, grass parking area. Electric + Water only. Nice sewer dump adjacent to RV area. 14 day limit.

Filthy, expensive and grumpy. We should have dry camped. Thousands of RV's and trailers parked everywhere around town. WiFi available but not checked by us.

Outstanding resort style park and outstanding staff! I had an unfortunate accident while staying here and the park staff responded immediately! They not only took me to the local medical clinic, they followed up with all the reports from the county authorities and checked on me several times. The staff care went way beyond what would be expected! We stayed here in our RV, Sept. 2005 and will return! Free WiFi!
