We stayed here August 4 and 5, 2007. This is a bustling active park. Great for kids. There are plenty of activities, i.e. bicycle rentals, etc. My kids loved it. There are 2 swimming pools, and although there were a lot of kids, there was plenty of room to enjoy them. We camped with 3 other families who had pop-up campers. We had a travel trailer, and stayed in a water/electric site. I think they need more dump stations. There was a long line to dump at the single dump station. Other than that, our experience here was pleasurable. This is definitely a "resort" campground. All the activities, and kids running all over would not be conducive for people looking for a quiet weekend, but we were happy there.

Nice clean quiet park. We spent the night here on our way home from South Dakota. Really, how can you beat the price? We got in late and left early, but the place was clean, quiet, and tranquil. I liked it. I had a chance to talk to the Manager, and he is a really nice accommodating guy. Not much here if you bring the kids, but a great place to stop for a day or so to get off the road and take a break.

I liked this campground. The roads were tight..and hilly. My neighbor complained that he couldn't get his class A level, but I had no problem leveling my trailer. The pool was pristine, and the restrooms were clean, as were the showers. The only inconvenience with the showers is you can't adjust the water temp...Ohhh, it was hot enough, LOL! You had to push a button to get the water to come on, and it shuts off after a few seconds. That was a little annoying, but we didn't have a problem dealing with it. The campground has some seasonal campers that look like they've been there too long, but I liked the trees and the rustic atmosphere of the place. It was quiet at night. I found this campground very relaxing after hooping it up at Mt. Olympus all day. We spent 3 Nights here.

This is an outdoor adventures membership campground. We joined last year, and this is the only campground we have used out of 5 available to us in Michigan. This is a nice campground, with all the amenities. The biggest draw back is there are not many showers. Not a lot of bathrooms available either. Also, I find the sites to be kind of small compared to other campgrounds we have stayed at. Some sites are larger, but you got to beat the retirees to get them. You make a reservation, but sites are first come first served, which I don't like. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and they don't rape you at the store. The pool is nice, but can get crowded. They have "adults only" for an hour during the day at the pool, and that is kind of nice, because you can relax and have the kids play elsewhere, and enjoy the quiet. Our kids are old enough to go to the playground themselves, so we kind of like it. They just built a nice putt-putt course. And it is relatively cheap to play ($2.00), and there is also a pond or small lake with a small beach. I consider this a destination campground to take the kids. They really like it. I don't know if I'll get my money's worth out of it over 5 years, but it is nice. I haven't had any problem getting in on holiday weekends. At the outdoor adventures in Davidson, you can forget getting in there on holidays. I've tried 3 times now.

This was a nice, quiet campground. We stayed in a camping cabin. The cabin was clean and had electricity. The bathrooms were clean, but I remember the drains backing up alot. Usually after the morning rush. There were ample showers, and I didn't have to wait. The pool was ok. I would stay here again.

This was our maiden voyage in our new trailer last year. It was a nice campground. Staff friendly, pool clean, our site was a good size. Being a new camper, I didn't have any problem leveling my trailer, nor getting into the space. I would stay here again. The area is beautiful, and we really enjoyed our stay.

I got a free year of coast to coast when I joined outdoor adventures campgrounds in Michigan last summer. We decided to utilize this membership and take a 2 week summer trip out west. We stayed at this resort for 8 dollars a night, and I don't think it was worth that. It starts with the size of my campsite. I have NEVER seen such a small campsite. I was next to a fifth wheel with a slideout that was 3 feet away from my awning. Our plan was to sight see during the day, then relax back at the campground towards evening, let the kids swim and make a nice dinner. I felt so claustrophobic that I couldn't stand even being at the campground. I swear our site wasn't 20 feet wide and 30 feet long. No shade, no fire pit. People in the campground office said that fire pits were limited due to high fire risk. Well, I would believe that if there was anything to burn. We were on short grass, and no trees anywhere around us. Also, if there is a ring and a sand pit, a fire would be perfectly safe. Unless the campers are too close together like you are at this place. I also found the staff to be not rude, but unaccommodating. For instance, to get ice, you have to go to the counter, pay for it, get a key, go about 50 feet outside around the corner, get the ice, then take the key back. Call me ignorant, call me dumb, but I haven't been at another campground yet that locks the ice when the office is open. Seems I got to do a lot of walking around to buy their slushy ice. I don't consider that good customer service. I bought the rest of my ice at the gas station. It was also 75 cents cheaper. The pool was ok, but smaller than most other campgrounds I've stayed at, and the bathrooms were clean. The showers have a "community" changing area, which my wife didn't like, so she used the one in the camper. As did Me and the kids. I guess I was really disappointed because coast to coast rated this a 5 star resort. I hardly think so. Most KOAs would rate better than this place. It isn't a good value, and I wasn't even impressed with the location.
