This campground is a dream come true for adult campers. This is like a state park, where the sites are plentiful, quiet, private and clean. There is not too much to do for kids, there is a lake, bingo occasionally, and sports games. During Halloween season there is a great haunted house. Park is run by a seasoned older woman who does not allow riff raff or young teens to camp alone. Safe, quiet, wooded and scenic. Highly recommended to adult campers.
We pulled into this campground excited about all of its amenities. The problem we had was that the sites are so close together and small that we had to circle the park for 2 hours trying to find a site that would fit our trailer. We had people on one side of us with barking dogs and the other side with 5 kids. The fire rings are so close to each others sites that we had to move our truck onto the street when others lit their fires. The entertainment was good, the cafe was great but the arcade rooms were tiny with only 4 machines. Why bother? The movie houses were hot, no air conditioning and played old movies, Toy Story, etc. The trolley service into town was great, free and prompt. This campground was okay but the office help is burnt out. I loved the Lake George area, alot to do around. Okay campground if you like close quarters. Bath houses are clean. Bingo a few times a week is okay, suppose to be 1 1/2 hours but is really only 1 hour with a break in between so people can get up and spend money in their store. Prizes are terrible. Scale of 1 to 10 I give this campground a 5.
