Concrete pads, picnic tables & grass next to each site. Close to interstate but I didn't hear any noise. Gated with code required for entry. Excellent, clean park. Playground, heated pool, huge dog enclosure, friendly staff, super clean. I didn't use the laundry facilities but they have them along with a storm shelter. Some kind of BBQ restaurant near entry to campground. They also have large RV storage. Super clean, a good Sam campground.
Very, very clean. Playground but no pet enclosure, pet friendly though. Level gravel sites, pull throughs & back ins. Code for showers, bathrooms & laundry. Shower area is enclosed individual rooms! $1 each to wash & dry. Close to interstate but I didn't notice the noise. Friendly staff!! Not Good Sam but excellent. Cracker Barrel about a mile away. No pool but large shade trees that are well trimmed, satellite TV. I would stay here again.
Campground may also be listed as the Oasis. Fairly level, spacious grass and dirt sites with picnic tables. Owner needs to invest in some gravel, a few muddy spots. Heated pool was clean and maintained, no playground that I saw. Full hookups. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean bathrooms and showers. Large laundry room with commercial machines gets an A+. Grocery store and gas station across the street. Near the highway but I didn't notice any noise. Ice and firewood for sale. Good Sam location. I would stay here again.
Very close to Mt Rushmore, & nearby Hill City is very cute! Large, level, gravel sites, some with trees. You can pick & reserve a spot ahead of time. Picnic table & fire ring. Clean showers & restrooms. Large laundry area with commercial dryers so fast drying times. Pet friendly. Clean pool & hot tub. Pancake breakfast is $2, but once you add on drinks, bacon, etc., it gets pricey. Beautiful area; would definitely stay there again! Rental cars available, too.
I'd give this campground an 8.5 if possible. Very level gravel sites, very well maintained, friendly helpful owner showed us to our site personally. One negative: not enough hot water for showers, the people ahead of us at the showers used it all, they need to invest in a larger water heater. One washer & dryer each in men & ladies bathroom. Large enclosed pet areas (you must watch your dog). Very cutely decorated. I would stay there again but might have to take a shower in my RV! Pool but didn't see a playground. Not too far off the interstate so a good stopover but far enough so you hear no traffic.
I would give this campground a 9.5 if possible. Negatives: only three showers & only 2 washers & dryers available only until 6:30pm. Positives: absolutely gorgeous area, private fire pit, our site was on the lake. Level gravel sites with plenty of room. Very friendly, welcoming staff, 12 miles outside of West Yellowstone. Pet friendly with dog enclosure area. Small borrowing library in office area. The campground is so well maintained I thought it was only a few years old but it's been there for 12 years at least. You can rent canoes, paddle boats & arrange fishing trips. My favorite campground during our three week trip. We stayed for 5 nights & I'd definitely go back again!
I would give this campground an 8.5 If possible. Located right at the entrance to Devil's Tower. Level, gravel sites. Basic clean showers & restrooms, heated outdoor pool, pool was clean & maintained. Washing machines & dryers, $1.50 to wash .75 cents to dry, machines work well! Sites are fairly large with some shade trees. Somewhat friendly staff. Campground well taken care of, no animal waste I saw, and we traveled with a dog. Fenced area for dogs. Communal fire pit til 9pm and showings of Close Encounters of the Third Kind every night for free. Restaurant on premises was so/so very much like a Waffle House. Overall, very good stay for us.
No frills campground so that is why I rated it a 7. Great for an overnight stop, right off the highway, so there may be some noise but I didn't hear it. Clean bathrooms & showers with a code required to access them. Level gravel sites & Dairy Queen within walking distance. Pet friendly. Didn't use the Wi-Fi or laundry. I would stay here again but overnight only, great stop for overnight. Very friendly owners helped me 3 different times with detour directions since the Missouri River was flooding the interstate in many different areas.
I'd give this campground an 8.5 if possible. You can reserve specific sites online ahead of time. Sites are shaded, spacious level gravel with concrete pad, picnic table & fire ring. Some sites are by the lake, online map provided by park service can be a bit deceiving. Clean showers & bathrooms, take bug spray, it's by the lake! Spacious showers, plenty of hot water. Lots of shade trees. Dump station & garbage bin on your way out. Playground for kids by the lake. No laundry. Price paid was senior citizen discount. Not far from Nashville either! Great stay, I'd definitely stay there again.
Resort? No. Closest available RV park so they charge a lot, yes. Entire park needs upgrades desperately. Shabby but not chic. Small older showers could be cleaner but had lots of hot water. Sites were grassy/weed but fairly level. Pool was clean, children's playground. Spa? No. Garbage disposal in a garbage truck parked near the office, smelly and not bear proof! Stay here if you can't find somewhere else that is better. We paid less for a waterfront site by a lake in Montana. Laundry is open 24 hours, machines are older and a bit smaller but work fine. $1 to wash, .75 cents to dry.
Small tight spots very close to your neighbor. Spots are assigned as you arrive, so you can't reserve a particular spot. In town, so close to activities. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, showers. Laundry room available. Some slots are designed for two RV's / trailers to be in at the same time without grass divider etc (less privacy). Definitely not my favorite campground but better than other nearby choices.
