Really pack you in here. Signage coming from I-40 not good so be on the look out 1/2 mile in. We have a 38' fifth wheel and had to park right next to the rig so no way to even sit outside without staring at the grill of our truck. This place is pretty empty yet they packed us all in a row, no view of the river either. No satellite reception. We're supposed to stay a week, but will leave early. Not a good fishing location this time of year as the river is shallow and current strong.

This is a self serve site with no other facilities but a decent and tidy place to park for the night. The sites are level and gravel.

Nice overnight stop. There is a 3 day maximum stay. The turn to access the park is tight depending on the direction you are coming from. Nice town of McCook just down the road.

Wow, we had a great time in this CG! We found the staff friendly and accommodating, our site was clean and the trees well trimmed. The close proximity to Hill City (3 miles) made it an easy ride on the Mickleson Trail to town where we enjoyed getting to know the locals.

Clean park. Had to back in as access road was blocked. Had to self check-in as it was a holiday weekend. Packed in but quiet and close to Hwy 80.
