I must admit, I rarely give a campground "10." But, this campground has just about anything you would want: pool, fishing, boat rentals, restaurant, etc. I had no problem with my Verizon services. One minor drawback is the close proximity to your neighbor. However, their sites are not nose to nose but opposite ends. Our $5 was Coast to Coast.

I hesitate to give this campground an "8" only because of the trains. However, wherever you stay in Biloxi, you will hear the trains. Ask for a site near the road. The couple who own this park have improved it and it's really a nice park: probably the best in Biloxi. They try to do anything to make your stay pleasant. There is coffee and danish everyday. That's a nice touch.

We planned on staying two nights, and stayed for six! The bathroom/shower rooms are great. They have a very nice laundry. This park is very convenient to the casino. All the sites are concrete and fairly level. We would stay here again. We think this is the best campground in Robinsonville.

I rated this campground "8" mainly because it is a great base camp for the Niagara Falls area. It is not in the congestion of the city areas. It has no amenities, with fairly level sites.

This RV park is owned by Turning Stone Casino. The sites were not too level, but they were paved. If you go to the casino, they have a strange way of doing the slot machines. You have to put money on your card before you can play and then, if you run out of money on your card, you have to put more money on it! If you play golf, find a coupon for Pleasant Knoll. It cost us $20 for two people, plus a cart.

There are fairly level sites and a pleasant reception at this park. We stayed here to wait for an adjuster, due to a slight miscalculation on navigating out of the last campground.

This campground is listed as Shelburne, NH and it's conveniently located off Highway 2. It is very convenient to Mt. Washington and other area attractions. The sites were very level and the people at reception were very nice.

All concrete, level sites at the Lady Luck. It is good for an overnight stay.

The staff was very nice at check-in. The sites are level and the campground is very clean. The big drawback is no shade. We ate at the local Tex-Mex and it was very good.

The sites here were fairly level. They have a large pool that is open to the public. There is no shade. Do not follow the GPS directions into this campground. Go past the pool and turn in.

It was a travel day and we ended up here. We would not return. It's a very stark campground, with no shade and fairly level sites. There is no laundry and no pool.

Rate was Passport America for one night. The staff very pleasant. The sites were not level and the utilities were not very convenient. However, they had the biggest showers I've ever seen. All gravel sites and roads.

The sites are fairly level. The roads are a little tight for RVs. The Rangers are very helpful and friendly. Easy access in an out and central to that part of New Jersey.

Very friendly in the office, but call for directions, don't use the website directions. The sites are level. Nice campground and would stay there again.

This was a good campground outside of Bangor. I would have given it a higher rating, but the sites were not too level. The bathrooms and showers were great. It was very pretty and away from traffic.

The sites are not level and there is no recreation during the week. There is a lake, but there is no recreation on it. I would not camp here again.

It's a very long, narrow three miles to campground. The sites are fairly level, but it is mostly seasonal. You have to pay for the showers. Convenient to both casinos. Foxwoods is about eight miles. I could not get Verizon cell phone access.

The people were very friendly. They escort you to the site and if you are not level, he puts some boards down for you! That's a first. This campground is right on the Bay of Fundy and you can walk out your door right to the beach area. We would definitely camp here again.

We were told by many people that this was the campground to stay in Cavendish. It is definitely not an adult park. This park is for young people with children. The place is full of children on bikes, who do not care about cars coming and going. I usually do not mind if there are scads of children, but these seemed to be unruly. The sites are large and level, but we did not find the check-in staff friendly or helpful. They could not provide any information regarding propane for your RV or answer other questions about the area. There is an information center a few miles away and they are very helpful. We would not stay here again.

This is a very nice campground. Our site did not have a sewer hookup, but there is a dump site available. There is lots of shade and it's an easy in and out. They only had two washers and one dryer working. In the morning, they delivered the newspaper. Nice touch! You must go on the tour of the "Desert of Maine." Very interesting information. And, of course, LL Bean's and other factory outlets are just a few miles away. This is a good campground to do the area.

We had site 16D, which was very level. There are some full hookups for 30 amp, but we could only see two full hookups for 50 amp. They have a very nice cafe right on site. Very good campground for the Bath area. We would definitely stay here again. Very friendly staff.

This is a very large park and the front desk people were very helpful. This park is approximately 14 miles to Acadia/Bar Harbor and about 30 minutes to Bangor. We chose it for several reasons -- 1. not in with the crowds and 2. we wanted to go into Bangor. The bathrooms were okay but the laundry was great! The sites are fairly level.

There is no cost for staying here, but you must put in a dollar amount. This is not a campground, but the casino has a large blacktop parking area set aside for RVs. You have to call for a permit and security gives you a pass good for seven days dry camping! When we were there it was packed with approximately 30-50 RVs. They have a shuttle service from this lot to the casino.

They only have two ways (Canada equivalent of water and electric). It is right on the water. There is a nine hole golf course on the property, but it is privately owned. It's a nice course. We would definitely stay here again.

This state park is still one of the best in the State of Florida. Almost all the spots have full shade. It has a nice dump site, which we all need! When in St. Augustine, don't forget to go to the lighthouse.

Well, the best thing about this park is its proximity to everything in and around Washington, DC. I would have rated it higher, but I found some of the staff were not friendly and helpful. Our rate reflects Coast to Coast, but it was still quite expensive. We stayed in the park because we had to attend a wedding. Pools are quite nice, and they do have a cafe. Some of the sites are shaded. There is a security gate, which is nice for that area.

Our rate reflects Coast to Coast membership. This is a very large, gated campground. It has a connecting gate to Barefoot Landing, which has shops and restaurants. You can walk or bike to them without going back on the main road.

This is really a great stopping off point. The people who work here are very friendly. This park has nice shaded spots. One problem with the park, the sewer connections are at the back of the site and you probably will need more than one hose.

This place is fabulous! However, to get around the property, you will need some mode of transportation. They have just about everything you would want in a facility. We played golf as "members" and paid $17. Good golf course, but very hilly. The RV spots are nice and shaded and fairly level. They are building a new clubhouse and pool near the sites where we stayed. The rate reflects Coast to Coast. We only stayed two nights but wished we stayed more.

Nice campground located about a 20 minute, easy drive to Atlantic City. We arrived in the late afternoon and the weather wasn't good, so off we went to AC. The staff here is great. They purchased the campground three years ago and are making a lot of improvements. The $38 reflects Good Sam discount. Sites are very level and there is a lot of shade.

We were looking for a place near Wilmington but couldn't find one. So, we decided to "boondock" at the race track. It was very convenient and the weather cooperated and was cool. They don't mind if you camp in their parking lot, but want you to use the back parking spaces. There were quite a few truckers who overnighted too. I had to put a price, but there is no charge.

We read the reviews before staying here, but thought we should take a chance. There are a lot of "month to month" campers here. (They used to be called full time!) However, you can still get some prime spots right on the lake. It is a municipally owned park, and they are hoping to put in city sewers so that every lot has sewer. It all depends on what you want from a park, but we thoroughly enjoyed this park. We put in our kayak right from our site on the lake. We played the 18 hole golf course and ate at the "Docks," while not leaving the property.

This park has very deep spaces and lots of trees. We had site 52, which was right near the bathhouse. I think the higher site numbers have more trees. There is a spring here that is a constant 72 degrees. The swimming 'hole' is huge and doesn't seem to get crowded because it so large. We rented kayaks and paddled the crystal clear river.

We camped here because of its proximity to the Ichetuckee Springs. It's a great place to go tubing. The springs are a constant 72 degrees. They only allow 750 people to go tubing down the north end, so get there early. The park is quite rustic and buggy. The road were very rough, lots of potholes. We camped in Magnolia 21, not a bad site. Magnolia 22 is a pull through. These sites are very large and have quite a lot of trees. Swimming and canoing was closed because of low water, so check that out before you go. It is fairly close to Gainesville. Go 'Noles!!

We were headed to Blackwater State Park in Holt, but the campground is closed for renovation. We were lucky to get a spot at this campground. We had to move the second night. The waters were quite rough when we were there and they red flags were out. We sat at the bay anyway and just waded in the water. We ate at Shrimpers near the campground. It was quite good.

We always stay at this park when we are in Tallahassee. It is very convenient, right off of I10. It's a very well run park. The people that own the park are from New Zealand and couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The big drawback is if you need the restroom facilities. They are clean and neat, but there are only two combo shower/toilet areas. They do have 3 washers and dryers and a nice clubhouse area.
07/2008
rating [ 10/10 ]
I gave this park a 10 because of the restroom facilities. They are very modern and clean. The laundry facility is also very good. You can walk very easily to the casino. There is another casino that you can also walk to quickly. They offer a site where you can wash your RV. That seems to be a luxury in the days of drought. The Hollywood Casino has a nice buffet and most weekend nights they have King Crab on the menu.

I find it difficult to give a campground a 10, because there's always something that can be improved. However, if this campground had a pool, I'd give it a 10+. We camped here for six nights and it was delightful. The people were very nice and helpful; the site was level and shady. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate and seemed to be cleaned more than once a day! It's a small campground, which is very pleasant. The campground is just east of Asheville and convenient to downtown and points East. I would definitely stay here again if in the Asheville area.

Have to give this campground a 10. The reason is, they have the cleanest showers, restrooms and laundry room we've encountered on out trip. The sites are pull through with plenty of room in between sites. Not too much shade, but adequate. Friendly and helpful manager and staff.

This state park is very large and there is a lot to do here. If you get to the park early enough, you can get a site with a sewer hookup. They do not have very many sites with sewer hookup. They do have a newer section, but we were told that that was for groups. The bathrooms and showers were the reason for rating this 7. And, even that is generous, because they really were awful! The rest of the park is delightful. The buffet at the Inn is "country" cooking and wasn't too bad.

The worst thing about this campground is the sites are right on top of each other! And, it seems that they allow more than one extra vehicles per site. It is convenient to Knoxville, as is only four miles from I-40. However, getting to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg is a much longer drive. Use Exit 407 off I-40 onto Route 66. As we were here on the 5th of July, the traffic going toward I-40 was backed up at least five miles. We inquired of the traffic at one of the shops and were informed that the traffic is bad every weekend. The campground was full when we arrived and the pool was inundated with "unwatched" children.

We probably would rate this higher if the golf course had been open. It was closed for 60+ days, as they were redoing the greens. Very nice park. Thought this was a nicer park than Falls Creek Falls. They do have sewer hookups on some of the lots. The lots are A+ and A lots and the price is more for an A+ lot.

As previous reviewers has stated -- they put you right against the fence and you hear traffic ALL night long... even with the A/C going. I would recommend that you don't stay here. I'm surprised that it is a Passport America campground. Most of the spots have permanent structures on them. We stayed here only because it was convenient to our family.

This hotel is associated with Hollywood Casino in Robinsonville, but their computers weren't hooked together yet. The restrooms were adequate, but nothing like the ones in their sister property in Robinsonville. An interesting aside, if you add days to your stay, they charge you less. So, tell them you'd like to stay for one day and then add on days. It's about a 45 minute drive into Biloxi and about 20 minutes to Gulfport. Gulfport has a nice casino, the Island View. Island View has a very nice buffet.

This campground is in the Coast to Coast system. It definitely is worth its five star rating. They do sell memberships, but are not hard sell. It is convenient to everything in the Helen area. If you like golf, try the course at Innsbrook. You need to be a mountain goat, but lots of great holes.
06/2008

The campground has lots of shade and an abundance of activities. There is an 18 hole golf course on the premises, but not run by the state. It is a nice course with reasonable rates. The restrooms left a lot to be desired, which is why I rated it a 6. There is only one shower in each restroom, and it is not clean at all. There are dump sites available, so I suggest that you take your showers in your rig.

Location, location, location! They do have full hook-ups but it is a very busy place. They sell an attraction ticket that is worth the price if you are staying for at least two days. The convenience is worth the price of the campground and they do have a water taxi that will take you over to the marina for the laser show. That seems to be the best way to get to the show because of the parking. It's just a short walk "up" and all downhill after the show! You should get to the laser show at least an hour before to stake your spot! This is a Passport American campground.

This campground had the best showers and bathrooms. It is part of the Hollywood Casino and there are two other casinos within walking distance. If using a GPS, you might want to put in Tunica, because ours did not recoginize Robinsonville.

This campground is a place to stop if you just want to visit Santa's shop. There is a very large Santa on the property and you can send Santa letters at the shop. I imagine children would enjoy staying there. If you want to see Fairbanks and its attractions, stay at Rivers Edge RV Park.

This campground was convenient to everything in the Rapid City area. It was just down the street from a good RV repair shop and Bear Country USA. We did go into Keystone and take the 1880 Train Ride to Hill City. Our recommendation is don't do this attraction.

You have to be careful what site you get, because a lot of the hookups seemed to be on the wrong side for the RV. Would definitely recommend a visit to Cody, WY. They have a terrific museum, the Buffaol Bill Historical Center. You really need two days for this museum. We also ate at the Rib & Chop House and it was a terrific meal.

This is not a friendly, helpful campground. And, for what you received, it was expensive. However, it is location, location, location. It's right at the base of Devil's Tower and they show the movie, "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" at night.

I would rate this campground higher, but they have so many rules! The sites are very level and have grass. The restrooms and showers are very clean. It is a convenient location and there is room enough for slide-outs and awnings.

This is a very nice campground with lots of trees. It's location is terrific. There aren't a lot of campgrounds in West Yellowstone, but we found this one to be the best. Ken, the manager, is a terrific tour guide and very knowledgeable of Yellowstone National Park. Pets are only allowed on the RV sites, but not in the tent sites.

This was a nice campground but too far from Denali. If you need to catch an early bus at Denali, you have an extra one-half hour drive. The sites were gravel, but level. They had a local woman speak about the area while we were there, and they had 'smores.

This campground is right on the river. You back your rig in and look out at the water. It's not a great campground, but, again, it's location. While in Haines I would suggest the Haines Hitch-Up, but we needed a place to stay one more night because the ferry had engine trouble. They did have a dungeness crabfest the night we stayed. The crab was just off the boat!

If you are going to stay in Anchorage, unfortunately, this is the best campground. It's all about location, location, location! The campground is very crowded, but there is enough room for slide-outs. It is definitely not a very pleasant campground, but it's very convenient to everything.

This is a good place to stay when visiting Glacier National Park. It is right at the entrance to "Going to the Sun" road. It's a little expensive, but you're paying for location. They have kayak and bicycle rentals and they were putting in a pool when we were there. The "Red Bus" picks you up at the campground. Nice restrooms and showers. However, the wifi was sporadic.

First, there are too many full-timers with big trucks in the park. Sometimes it's difficult to maneuver your rig into a site. They don't have a lot of room between rigs. There is an exercise room at the main building, which also houses the one and only bathhouse. It is in a convenient location and has an RV repair shop on site that takes the campers first. That was a very big plus for us.
