Nice campground, we meet some very nice people. The bathroooms and showers were clean. It does get loud with the concerts. The only thing we did not like was there's not enough shade, not many trees in the campground. We would go back.
We had a great time at our last camping trip in Harrisonburg / New Market KOA near Luray. Very nice camp ground, small sites great for a pop-up and tent’s, quite at night, very clean bathrooms. Nice people that ran the camp ground, they even showed us to our site. We stayed at site #11. This camp ground would be a great place to camp with friends for the weekend. Going to Luray Caverns was a great time and very close. We will be going again to this KOA.
My son and I camped at KOA Hagerstown over the weekend so we could attend the chill cook-off in Hagerstown on Saturday. Nice little CG, site are small, great for pop-ups, very dark at night could see the stars. Hagerstown Speedway in down the street, we could hear the cars racing Saturday night. They finished by midnight. We had the all you can eat breakfast Saturday morning $6.50 each without drinks, kind of high. The site by the creek were the best looking. Very clean bathrooms. Nice swimming pool. Staff was very friendly. I give it about a 3 out of 5!! Would go back if I could get a site by the creek.
Cherrystone Family Resort in Cheriton, VA was a very fun, clean, and activity packed place to spend the Labor Day holiday. We had site #33 near Pier 1 and the Bait and Tackle shop, and while the park itself got crowded on Friday we found our area was still quiet and relaxing and did not have a lot of traffic. Most everything we needed was on site at the campground, and what they did not have there we could find not far away. Fishing and clamming were really good and they had boats you could rent if you wanted to go out on the water. Rental prices were reasonable, and prices overall were good. Bathroom stalls and Shower stalls were very clean. We would definitely go back again.
