Great state park with 50amp service and large paved pads. We camped in a 40ft motorhome and would consider this campground "Big Rig Friendly" which is rare for state parks sometimes. There is a lake our site backed up to called lake shelby on the map. The park was close to dining and the staff was friendly. There are also some neat cabins available for rent not far from the RV park portion of the park. Good value for near beach camping and would stay again.

Awesome campground right off of I-85 at exit 51 and close to Auburn University. We camped here in a 40ft motorhome towing a car and used one of the "Big Rig Friendly" pull-thru sites. Wi-Fi and cable TV were free and worked well but mainly we were just glad to come across a "Big Rig Friendly" campground headed down to the beach/gulf that was right off the interstate. Staff was friendly and offered dining info on the town which had some neat places downtown to eat so on our way back we stopped back in and spent an extra day exploring the Auburn campus. When you get off the interstate look for the Hampton Inn about 1/10th of a mile right off the interstate and turn right just past the Hampton Inn. The campground overlooks a city softball complex that is well maintained and there are also pull-thru sites along a large creek for waterfront camping. All in all a great value and easy on and off interstate.

This is one of the more reasonably priced RV parks in the Atlanta area. It is a ways from town, but the park would be decent for a stopover on I-75. Staff was friendly, and I had no issues getting a 40' rig in there. If you have to be closer to Atlanta for some reason or another, there is a park closer that is also a Good Sam park you might want to check out, too. I would stay at Atlanta South again though.

This is a no frills park about 8 miles from downtown Savannah, GA. I would recommend this park for several reasons starting with the price being reasonable, and when I called to make a reservation the lady was very friendly. The sites were so level I didn't even need to put the jacks down. The site we had was about a 100ft long pull through with plenty of space on both sides and most of the rest were similar. It would be nice to come across more campgrounds like this because most RV Parks don't realize we are usually there to go see something besides their park amenities and are not concerned about bathrooms because we have bathrooms in our motorhomes. If you are looking for a resort, this is not a resort, but it is the best place to stay if visiting Savannah in our opinion, and we will stay there again when visiting the area.

Camped in a river site for a few nights in September right before the leaves started to change. This park was right out from Harrisburg and was fairly easy to find right off of Hwy 22. There was a mini golf setup that my grandson and I enjoyed together. All of the people were friendly, and we felt very welcome. We were there for the Juniata county fair and would stay here again.
