Had not stayed here for two years. Still very convenient to Interstate. Still a great facility - large pull through's with concrete pads, and I will stay here enroute regardless of my review just for convenience if nothing else. Check in people were very confused and could not figure how to use the credit card machine. Not rude - but not helpful either. They used to have a pizza and wings delivery service to your rig. Still have the food but they no longer deliver, and when we got the pizza it was like ice cold cardboard. Terrible. Also they have a LOT more permanent campers than my last visit including a guy with a permanent OUTSIDE dog cage and a full weight set on his space. No longer has a good feel. 10 for convenience - 5 for the rest.
Have stayed here several tines before. Very convenient to Interstate 10 and the town of Fredericksburg. A bit of a haul to San Antonio. Very nice check in - fantastic facility and everything is just done so well. Easy pull-thru sites with toad. Exceptionally clean and well organized. Friendly atmosphere even though we stayed for just an overnight. Will stay here at every opportunity.
I really want to like this park. At some time the park and its neighboring resort at Lajitas had a LOT of money invested in facilities. They are first class, but the service and maintenance levels at both just don't match. They try - just fall a bit short. That said, the park was nearly empty, and we were told to take any site you want. Certainly more than enough room for any pull through size with toad. Pool was nice but had a VERY loud group. About a 30 minute drive to Big Bend National Park and 15 minutes to the state park. Beautiful scenery - situated in the mountains. Sunrise/sunset spectacular. Really the nicest park within at least 100 miles.
Have stayed here before. Easy access from Interstate 10. Very nice and helpful check in - nothing especially fancy but a nice campground. Great pull through sites for a 45 foot with toad. Nice view of the river and just all around well managed. Nice recent additions were gazebo's and concrete patio pads. Will stay here again.
We stayed here during the Formula 1 Race in Austin. Rate was high but hotel rooms were 3-5x rack room rate during the race. Campground was fully booked - I waited 9 months to get a cancellation. They had three people in golf carts meeting you at the entrance - immediately took you to our space - let you check in later. Process was exceptionally well managed. Pull thru with my 45 footer and Honda was roomy and adequate. Yes - a bit older resort and roads in the back section were a bit trashed but office staff were exceptionally helpful. Immediately off Interstate 35 - but noise was not that bad and very convenient. Will stay here again.
This was a stopover on Interstate 65. 45 miles south of Montgomery. About 2 miles from the Interstate. We had a 45 foot RV with a 20 foot trailer and they had a spot that worked perfectly. Owner stayed late to make sure we got to our spot and led us by golf cart. A large number of permanent residents but a very nice park overall. Beautiful lake - natural and the spaces are well separated. Would definitely stay here again.
Very convenient stop along Interstate 10/65. Owner stayed late to insure we got our space - very nice and helpful. A large number of permanent campers but still nice overall. We had a 45 foot RV with a 20 foot trailer and they had one space saved for us. Tight but we made it. Lots of trees - nice but limited Direct TV. Would use this again as a stopover.
Very close to the Interstate. Excellent pull through sites for big rigs. Five miles from Mammoth Caves. Helpful managers and generally well kept. Trains start up around 6 and are certainly loud enough to wake you up. Some traffic from the interstate but not bad. Excellent area for dogs: nice big pet run. In the middle of a few farm fields and a local business to the rear. Not bad just nothing spectacular. Would be great for stop over or a visit to the caves. Otherwise not that much here.
Wow. Where do you start. We loved this place. The facilities are outstanding. Free breakfast every day, events most evenings. Absolutely drop dead beautiful grounds. Perfect site arrangement. Very pet friendly and the most friendly group of RV'ers I have ever met. The local management team is exceptional. Access to just about every local restaurant, biking paths etc. We will come back again next summer for a month. The area itself is fantastic and this park is as nice as it gets.
Nice Park: very close to Interstate. Was just a stop over and was perfect for that. Close enough to Champaign to have good local restaurants and services. Owner was very gracious and helpful. Lake view was ok. The large pull through sites made easy entrance and exit: great for big rigs. Would stop over here again.
Huge Park with excellent pull through sites for big rigs. Great views of the Mississippi. Very large grassy area great for dogs. Had a river slot and enjoyed watching the barge traffic go buy while sipping a beverage. Very good access from the Interstate. Entry road is a bit rough but passable. Not as close to Beale Street in Memphis as they say: probably 20 minutes across the Bridge. Not much attractive in the immediate neighborhood. Had the worst Mexican food in recent history in a restaurant near the entrance. The rest is fast food. Stayed 2 days to see Memphis area and that was enough. Very nice for a stop over but not much on facilities at the RV park.
This was a one night stop over - convenient off I-10. Nice office staff - helpful. Large pull through - mostly concrete pad was a plus. There were RV's for sale (apparently for a very long time and vacant) in my area and a tremendous amount of large/industrial trash piled about. Many permanent looking RV's - not well kept at all. Woodall's has this with a crazy rating. Close to restaurants if you want a stop over, but I would never stay in this park again.
First - I love Tybee Island. A real throw back beach community. Reminds me of the nice part of Florida Keys. Laid back and fun. The park is run by the city - a real variety of campers. We had a '45 foot rig with a toad - no problem getting into our pull-through site. Pads were crushed rock and very stable. Great access to the beach and local attractions. Not a luxury type park - but an honest - well run and fun place.
Beautiful members type park. Fantastic facility - front office people very helpful. Great location on Bay - marina and water views. Nice - but small work out room - beautiful pool. Saturday night party was a big surprise. There are a number of cabana's under construction and there was a continuous stream of workers and trucks. Severals owners had multiple vehicles and golf carts on their lot - combined with the construction was congested.
