It is now a KOA. Second time staying at Park. First time was when it was a KOA also. Nice campground with plenty of room. Our site they parked us the opposite direction so we could enjoy the grassed area. Couldn't walk on grass in saddles because of prickly weeds mixed with grass. We did like direction of our unit though because we would have been looking directly at tents for our view. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Second trip to this Park. Parked on the pull through sites at Line Camp. Stayed seven nights. Staff was great as always. Needed to change tire on pull trailer but forget jack. They provide jack. At our site the Wi-Fi connection was spotty, but we were there for the Rally and not to do business! We would stay again.
This is return visit. Stayed 3 nights. Snow, rain and sleet. Owners of campground hosted a pizza night as they made, cooked and served pizza to all in campground. Great time is always had here! traveled to Chico Hot Springs (6 miles) each day. Next trip planned here is in August, if not sooner. Park books fast for summer.
Have stayed at Park numerous times. Great staff. Some full time summer residents. Great views and close to Yellowstone park. Chico Warm Springs is just 8 miles away with great restaurant and bar.
Love the area. Stayed here over the Sturgis Days for 9 days. Staff were always friendly. We met some nice people traveling through the area. We had site open for satellite. Not all sites have cable.
Stayed for 4 nights. Can't ask for more friendly staff. This is not our first time, nor will it be our last. Like the sites with concrete pads. Cost is $5 more, but well worth it if it rains.
We stayed two nights in a 35' RV and not our first time. Our site was not level, but had blocking for this purpose. It took 3" to level. We were located on back side of park. Our site had only power (50amp) and water. The owner is slowly improving campground. Sites have not been touched in numerous years. Some KOA's are spending lots of money to upgrade and some are not. They currently only have one site with a patio. We will come back again.
Stayed here three nights. Awesome! Had a river site and mountains in back ground made very a picturesque site! Staff were very helpful and friendly! Chico Hot springs was just down road. We would not eat at the Liver Stable in Emigrant again. If you want to eat out, our suggestion would be to go to Chico. Only 30 miles to Yellowstone NP.
Camped here three nights. Temperature was in the 90's so the campground, because of lack of paved or graveled sites and roads, was very dusty and dirty. Enjoyed nearby river to cool dogs off. The city owns and maintains this campground and could spend some money to improve. Grassed areas were also dry native grass. Very apparent the only water for lawns is by mother nature.
