Beautiful and quiet wooded area. ATV trails right from the park. Hosts were very nice and knowledgeable about the area. Well paved road in campground, but narrow in some areas. Enjoyed site #18 & #19, as they were both 50 feet or more in length. Lots of bicycle trails just outside the campground entrance. Visitor Center just across the street. Only dislike was the $7.00 dump fee.
Pine Cliff may look nice on-line, but once you get there it's like sardines squished into a can with all the other trailers. We had to squeeze our slide out in between pine trees. The size of your campsite is smaller than an apartment balcony! They do offer full hookups, but ours was only 30 amps, and we could not run two A/C units on our rig at once. They offer an old basketball court, horseshoes, and some old Little Tykes play equipment for the kids 3 and younger. The roads are all dirt or gravel, so bike riding or scooters for the kids is not great. Another campground next door is far nicer and has a lake view! Any campground in Mammoth Lakes without hook ups is way better! We will never stay here again!
This is a very nice park. Newly paved roads, 200 yards to the beach. Kayak, paddle board and peddal boat rentals on site. Snack shack right on the beach as well. Kid friendly and close to Tahoe City for local farmers market, rafting down the Trukee River, or just shopping. Miles of bike trails begin just past park enterance. Very, very nice RV or tent camping! We will definitely stay here again! We had no problems getting into our site.
