Located on a cliff overlooking the ocean, this was one of our favorite campgrounds. The sites are small and the amenities are few, but the view is unbeatable. You can see the occasional whale and seals from the campsite. And, there is a path down to a beautiful rocky beach located right where Corney Brook meets the sea. There is a trail head across the street that will take you to a waterfall and several other hikes close by. The nearest showers are about 10 minutes away at the Cheticamp campground, but you have free access to them.
Great location right on the dunes. Some spots have tree cover but we chose beachfront. There is road noise but otherwise this is an ideal park. Great running/biking trails. Showers, which are free, include steaming hot water and there are sinks for cleaning dishes and such. Currently the eastern half of the park is flooded so only the H campsites, located to the west of the park office on the map, are open. We stayed three nights in site 15H and found it private and lovely.
