I call this park the “rules park.” I was treated very rudely when I tried to checked in. It was just a few minutes before 1:00 when I drove up for check in. I was told very rudely that I had to wait and I could not even enter until check in time which was 1:30. Waiting would not have been a problem. I was also read all the “rules” so that I would know all of them. The rule that was published which astounded me most was: “Pets must be on leash at all times—pet off leash $186 fine.” On the positive side, the restrooms/showers are very clean and warm. Motor homes are close together, but it was not a problem. People were friendly. No traffic noise, but airlines do fly overhead. No sewer on your site. The free Wi-Fi is operated by the city and is totally unsecured. During summer season, there is a 28 day limit for staying in the park. If I had not been treated so rudely on check in, I might consider staying here again.

The park was full of moth's, which got in our car, RV and everywhere else. The cottonwood trees were snowing cotton so much that the ground was almost white. We were also parked under the shade trees which dripped sap on our RV and car. Probably the worst thing was the poor attitude of the manager. You had to unhook your car in front of the office before going to your site, even though most sites were pull through sites. They do have a big dog park for your dog. I would not stay in this park again.

This is a very friendly family run RV park that has a BBQ every night. It is a well kept and clean park with gravel roads. It rained a lot while during our stay, but the owner worked tireless on trying to keep the roads in good condition. I even saw the owner grading the gravel roads while it was still raining. There is a small dog run and ample grass around the fencing to walk the dogs. Very poor AT&T cell service so they have a land line phone you can use for free. Wi-Fi was very good. It is a excellent place to stay for overnight or week long stays. The only negative would be the neighborhood dogs outside the park seemed to bark all night. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a rustic campground directly next to highway 12 on the way into Bryce Canyon National Park approx 15 miles before the visitor center and seven miles from Panguitch. The management was friendly and helpful. Road noise from highway 12 dies down after dark. Full hookups. Very pet friendly. The campground appears to have new campground cabins, but the campground itself could use a lot of cosmetic fixing up to make it more attractive. Roads into the park are gravel and the sites are level with no shade. We were level when I parked. We camped there two nights while seeing Bryce Canyon.

Most of the Sunbirds that stay here in the winter say "This could be a wonderful park because of the very friendly people that stay here if the management would just clean and fix up around the park. The management does not seem to enforce many park rules. If they would clean it up a bit it would be a great plus. Many sites have absolutely beautiful views of the lake and the great Arizona sunsets. Lakeside sites have no sewer connections but the park will come around and pump you out. Wi-Fi is iffy. There are many activities and I agree most of the people are very friendly.

You must drive into Thomaston to get to this campground. Good park with friendly management. We had no problem with 30A electricity. The Wi-Fi was excellent. Access to the water was a long walk down from your site, but you have a great view of the river from most of the sites. This is a campground that caters to adults. Grass is well mowed and workers are friendly and helpful. Sites have metal rings for fires and very lush grass. I would definitely stay there again.
