We've stayed here multiple times and really enjoy it. The grounds are well kept and the sites are wooded and relatively private. Some of the sites are connected, which makes for great family camping. Beware, however, that the online map is not accurate. Best to call and double-check if the sites are indeed connected. The bathrooms and showers are very outdated and did not appear clean. Would be nice to see soap in the bathroom and trash cans on the grounds. Lake is beautiful; beach was a bit muddy, but the kids have enjoyed it on previous trips. Consider making the drive to Uncle John's Cider Mill for donuts and cider.
We typically camp at state campgrounds, but camped here with our parents who were here from out-of-town. The campground buildings and general areas are very clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our site was in excellent shape. It is obvious the family takes pride in the campground. The store area was very nice; although we didn't get any, they do have ice cream and other treats. My mom said the laundry room was in great shape, too. No complaints at all. Visitors should know that the campsites themselves are in what was probably a farm of some sort. It was a bit muddy in some areas, and the dog area was all sand with some clumps of grass. My doggies were filthy after their walks.
