A very picturesque Park with large sites. There is a good variety of open, shaded or heavily treed sites. As with most (all?) of our provincial parks, no water or full hook-ups available. You can get electric sites and if you bring enough water hoses, can fill up your tanks. (We used three hoses to reach the nearest water tap). If you don't have a tote for emptying your tanks, the office will let you use one for free, but you must give them a security deposit until you return the tote. There is a beach reasonably close to the campground area and a very nice golf course in the park. If you don't mind a bit of roughing it, (camping remember) it is quite pleasant. We try to visit for a week at least once every year.

Mainly hiking, biking and similar outdoor activities are available. We were attending a special event there, so not sure of the normal rates. The campground is very scenic. 15,000 people overloaded the facilities so we cannot judge normal cleanliness. The event was excellent, everything on our site worked well, staff were friendly and we will be back.

The campground is somewhat old, but we were treated well each visit and the price is reasonable. Amenities were about average, the pool was clean but cool (outdoor pool) Wi-fi didn't work on our site. The kids loved the wagon ride. There is some aircraft noise as the campground is near the airport. It is convenient located for shopping in Bangor or a stopover on a trip south. We'll be back.

Not just an RV parking lot. It is an excellent facility with large level wooded sites and great stone fire pits. Sites were private and uncrowded. Apparently all sites are back in but most appeared wide and easy to maneuver into. Wi-fi ($10/week, $2/day extra) was reasonably fast and we had no dropped connections. Great hot tub and nice pool, both indoors. Good location for fall leaf viewing expeditions and reasonably located for visits to a number of attractions and shopping area's. No structured activities for kids, but we didn't bring any. About 75% seasonal campers, but everyone was friendly and helpful.
