Stayed for 5 days. Had a patio site which was perfect for a large RV. Building and grounds were well taken care of. Excellent location for visiting the Nashville area and attractions. Some road noise (mostly cars) from highway 155. They are upgrading an older section that will have larger pull though sites. Expect to have done sometime this summer. Would definitely stay here again.
Mature campground centrally located to many of the fall venues in Door County. Very high percentage of seasonal campers. However, found everyone to be very friendly and cordial. Campground is well taken care of - clean and organized. We stayed in the newer section for 3 nights in a pull through site with full hook ups and had good satellite reception. We were escorted to our site and offered firewood delivery if needed. Staff is excellent and owners are on site. WIFI is only available at the recreation room. Cell coverage with data was spotty at best. We plan on returning next fall.
The campground is close to downtown Galena - reason for our stay. We were there for two nights with full hook ups in a pull through site. Only saw the staff at check in. There is no operating security gate for coming and going which gives me concern about non-campers coming into park. The back in sites are very, very close together. Would not recommend. Fair number of seasonal campers. Grounds were well kept and clean. People were friendly. It is an "ok" park.
Wonderful county park along the river with mature trees and concrete pads. Well maintained and quiet with a very good staff. Close to Indianapolis with easy access to interstate via highway 37. All sites are back in. For larger rigs and full hook ups, I recommend the site numbers in the 90's. First stay and will definitely return.
Overnight stop on return trip from Florida to Wisconsin. Employees very friendly and accommodating. Park was clean and well taken care of. Located within a mile off the exit. Had a pull through site with concrete patio and full hook ups. Would definitely stop here again.
