This is our third visit ,and we will not be back. Biggest complaint is that park deteriorates more each visit. Very dusty roads, very smelly trash, and park rules are not enforced. There are two dumpsters in the park (another out by the street 100 yards away) and they fill up quickly with crab, fish, and clam debris. Management posted a sign telling you to double bag all trash to keep down smell, then they use a front loader to squash down the bags which rips them open!! Twice a week pickup would fix problem. Many sites have multiple vehicles which overflow the site and encroach on roads and neighbors. One site #69 actually had 11 dogs who barked like crazy when let out of the RV. The site was covered in blankets for the dogs to do their business and the dog owners would hose the blankets down!! A complaint to management was brushed off. The park is for sale, so maybe the owners have stopped caring. Very easy beach access is the only positive left.
Heavily treed park with tight turns for RV's to get into and around park. Trees are trimmed and if you go slow and carefully you can get a 45 ft motorhome in safely. Sites are long. We had a 32 ft fifth wheel, a 24 foot p/u and still had 15 feet to spare. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Pool is not heated and small. Nice hiking trail around back of park. Would stay again if visiting Santa Fe, although it is a 15-20 minute drive into downtown.
Parking lot camping with a gravel picnic table area at each site. Plenty of room for any size RV. Pool is about a quarter mile walk inside the hotel affiliated with the campground. There is a golf cart shuttle you can call for. Close to town and restaurants and great Wi-Fi. Not much else to say, it is basically a large paved campground and nothing more.
Wide open park with a view of mountains and surrounding valley. Marys Lake is across street from park and not visible. Free shuttle into town. WiFi was weak and had to take iPad closer to antennas to get a signal. Quiet park with exception of campground host operating power metal finishing tools for hours during early evening. Large sites for any size RV.
Serious lack of pride by owners. There is not a piece of fence or wood in park that does not have peeling paint. Trees were not trimmed and branches had to be pulled away from rig to get into spot. Pool had cleaning "robot" working the entire three days we were here, interfering with a relaxing swim. Close to freeway and tracks, so quite noisy. Staff was more interested in searching for coins with a metal detector than performing maintenance. Would not recommend. Large dog run was nice.
