This has become an annual trip for me and some fishing buddies. We have stayed at Buryanek, Platte Creek, and Snake Creek. Not only is Snake Creek the best one of them in the area, but one of my favorite campgrounds I've EVER stayed at. While it's not the perfect family place, perfect for couples, or a fishing camp. SD state parks have huge sites! Most other states would have two to three times the number of sites in the same park area. You must stay here to believe it. We were lucky enough to get a pair of waterfront sites this past stay. Amazing weekend. Get this...at 5:45 each morning as we were headed to the boat ramp we saw the Park Employees pulling in for work!! At 6am one morning there was a Park person checking the bathrooms...on a Saturday!! Kudos to the SD State Parks program.

A week long family vacation to Yellowstone and beyond, and my kids say the Chadron night was they're favorite! This park is very large, and the sites are fairly well spaced out. The Pine Ridge area of Nebraska is very scenic, and this park sits right in the middle of it all. Huge swimming pool, with two diving boards, a nice park to just walk around, hiking trail, and a lake that we rented paddle boats on for a fun morning. Very reasonable rates, all the amenities we needed, and a beautiful sunset. Not my first time there, and won't be the last.

Definitely a great experience here. We reserved a waterfront site while planning for our summer vacation and when we arrived we all wished we could stay for a month! Kids loved the pool, I loved being 10' from the Wind River! Dubois is a must see town, and no better place to stay than the KOA. Only one brief interaction with a crabby lady cleaning the bathroom kept me from rating this a 10. Everyone else there was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

One night stop on our way to Yellowstone. Park was clean, we used the laundry facilities and also hiked the nature trail around the park. Our site was on the outside of the campground loop, so we didn't have neighbors behind us. The kids enjoyed the ice cream social that night in the park office, and also swam in the pool for a while when we got there. Friendly staff. We would stay here again.
