Seems to be going downhill since our last visit , could be fantastic , it's on the water , main bike routes at the entrance , but a combination of long term residents with off lead dogs , clutter / mess and a lack of maintenance (worst interior roads I have encountered ) give this place a down beat vibe. It appears the owner is pushing money and resources into the cabins and allowing the rv sites to fall into disrepair . Will not return
If your RV is under 25 feet, you are forced into certain spots regardless of cost or availability. Do not accept sites that back on to the factory that works 24/7; you get no peace . Dogs are allowed, but no pens, so if you want your dog outside you must sit with a leader . Overall not a bad place but not great.
The park is very clean and well maintained. The on site restaurant and wine tasting room are very good . But, it's not dog friendly because there is only one tiny patch of grass with signs every 3' to keep pets off. Small concrete patio for each site. Everywhere else is large grade gravel . Wi-Fi is slow and constantly drops. The lap pool is approx 10yrds in length and closed. The new pool looks good but a lack of landscaping and trees makes it uninviting. The gentleman on reception is at best aloof.
Rate includes taxes for lakefront site, loud boats from 7am loud bikes from 7pm, loud gas golf carts flying about all day and night. Sites have old picnic table no cable tv and no useable internet. The views are amazing and the place could be fantastic but long term residents have turned the place into spring break central for people old enough to know better. Will not return.
Gravel and dirt sites were not level . Swimming pool was not open. Wi-fi was really only available outside office. There were lots of loose dogs . The bathrooms are clean, and power seems reliable. Would not stay here again
