This is a small campground with little to do. There is a park, playground, some hiking and canoe rentals. We would probably not stay there again unless it was enroute to another destination and only for an overnighter.
This is a large and wonderful campground. It is kept very clean. There are a lot of walking and biking trails. There is a lake for swimming and it is close to the Gulf of Mexico. Our daughters were tickled to see lightning bugs at night (stayed in April) and American eagles nesting close to our site. Overall, it was a great experience and we'll definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed the quiet at this campground. Our site (#28) was very spacious, level and provided much privacy. Boating is permitted on the lake, there is a tiny beach and a nice sized park. It's a perfect place for a little r&r.
