Sites are laid out very close together, but park was not busy, so RVs were spaced out where nearly everyone had a wide site. Smell from adjacent fishery was quite strong when the wind was from the wrong direction! Good 30 amp electric and the Wi-Fi worked great. Be sure to allow at least half a day to visit the Fortress.

Even though the previous review warned that a 40 ft motorhome would not fit, we thought we'd try it based on the good reviews from 2010. We paid the Coast to Coast rate and proceeded to the site assigned. No way could we park there. We got a refund and went to a nice park a couple of miles down the road.

Nice quiet campground located on small lake 5 miles from Sherbrooke. Good 30 amp power and water. Dump station available. Long, wide pull thru sites and a few parallel sites next to the lake shore. Fire rings and picnic tables. Canoe rentals, boat dock, swimming and fishing. We arrived in two 40 ft motorhomes and were told to pick whichever sites we wanted and come back and pay. We had two lovely sites 8 ft from the water. Free Wi-Fi was pretty good at site, but stronger at rec hall.

Friendly staff. Sites are tree lined which provides some privacy but interferes with satellite reception. 30 amp was weak with low voltage and when reported to manager, he said to try the other post. The pull through sites are end to end and no one was parked behind me. This plug worked much better. Wi-Fi worked pretty good most of the time. We stayed 7 days and the rate reflects the weekly rate with the 7th day free.

Check-in staff was very friendly but young and inexperienced with big rigs. Site assigned was Not accessible to a 40 ft motorhome, so took another site. Fire rings are in the way for parking and exiting. 50 amp elect is good and water pressure is good. WiFi only works in office or parked right outside. Lots of kids on bikes but not noisey. Would stay here again. Rate is PassPort America.

Very friendly staff. Plenty of room for 40 ft rigs. A caravan with several big rigs was here when we checked in, utilizing all the 50 amp sites. A different caravan replaced them the next day. Sites are level grass with plenty of room for slides and toad. 30 amp was steady with 115V to 120V. Strongly recommend the lantern graveyard tour in Annapolis Royal (suggested by the campground staff). Good satellite reception.

WE DID NOT CAMP HERE. The person in the office was not very friendly. She laid out a long list of rules and wasn't very welcoming. Got to our site and plugged into "30 amp" elect. Power was only 100 volts and my surge protector would not operate. we told her and she said "they hadn't had any problems before". We told her we were leaving and she did refund our money. If you are camping in a tent, this park might work for you.

I agree with the review of 7/2010. The trees are a little bigger and lower. No satellite reception, but Wi-Fi was good and fairly fast. They have 5 sites with 50 amp, but they are hard to get into with any rig requiring 50 amps.

We stayed here for a week before going into Canada for 3 months. The staff is friendly and helpful. Very wide, well maintained grassy sites, open for good satellite reception. Free WiFi is good and faster than most. Good location for day trips to Lake Placid, VT. Islands, Montreal, etc.

This was probably our worst campground experience yet in our 8 years of full timing! We had reservations for two 40 ft motorhomes. When we arrived, the lady immediately came out and directed me to my "site". There were so many trees I wasn't sure where she intended me to go. She led me so tight against a tree I had to unhook the toad and back up. There were so many mosquitos it reminded me of Alaska (only worse). Camouflaged in the treetops was a cable just high enough to take the MaxAir vent off the top of my coach. The gal directing me into the site never indicated there was a low cable overhead. My friend in the other coach climbed on top of my coach and lifted the cable so I could back out without taking off the air conditioner or satellite dish. The campground staff offered no help or apologies, so we both left the campground without hooking up.

Clean and well maintained. Great pool and hot tub area. Wide paved sites with patio area and table. Quiet and secure. Recently awarded Woodall's 5W rating and Trailer Life 10/10/10 rating. Rate includes tax with Good Sam discount. Weekly rate for any site is $195 including tax and electricity. WiFi is free but not very dependable. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very friendly staff. Excellent pool area, laundry and shower/restrooms. Air Force Jets a little noisy but quit about 11:00pm. Fun to watch the Thunderbirds practice. Our plans changed and we were given a full refund for the nights we prepaid. Not many parks will do that! Sites were adequate for big rigs and the utilities were good. Security is excellent with a locked gate and remote opener provided to each guest.

Nice wide, level gravel sites. Easy on and off I-40. Got oil changed at Speed Co (same exit). Only negative is it's 15 miles from Kingman. Great park for anyone passing through the area.

We had to have the engine replaced in our Diesel pusher and the folks at Cabin Diesel Services, who also run the RV park, were great. We stayed in our coach when it wasn't actually in the shop. Sites are level gravel and 80' long. Very good Wi-Fi. Located just off the I-44 Turnpike exit at Big Cabin on US 69 highway.

All construction in the Fairground area has been completed. Campground is basically a clean, blacktop parking lot with full hookups. Sites are tight for 40 ft rigs with slide outs. Unless major events are going on, you should be able to get a site with no one parked on either side. No WiFi service available while we were here. Camp hosts are very nice and accommodating. $35/night is high for a fairground. (We paid $20 at the Springfield, IL fairground).

This is a clean, well maintained campground. We have stayed here three times, and the best time was the 4th of July. The fireworks show at Worlds of Fun is spectacular and you can watch from your site. A little noisy from the trucks on Parvin Ave, but not bad. Parking area for check in is on a very steep hill.

We have stayed here several times over the past eight years. This campground has continually improved each year, and now they are adding more sites and new cable TV service. The indoor pool and hot tub are really nice year round. Camping World, WalMart, Best Buy, Home Depot and much more are within a mile. The WiFi is intermittent.

We originally planned to stay here for three days to visit some of the Lincoln sites and museum. There was so much to do and see in the Springfield area, we wound up staying twelve days! The staff is excellent and very friendly. We were even given a golf cart tour of the fairgrounds. The 50 amp elect was very strong and stable (as was the water pressure). The Wi-Fi signal was good and usually very fast. We will definitely stay here the next time we're in the area.
