This KOA was OK for us. We stayed here for 6 days while working in the area. It's not too far off of I-40 and pretty easy to find. The park could use some updating as far as the sites go. They are layed out in a very strange hap hazard way. Our pull through site was gravel, didn't see any paved sites, but roads are paved. Most sites are very close together with the exception of a few. We did have room for our 4 slides, but park was not busy this time of the year. Big Rigs need to be careful in this park because of low hanging trees and a couple of tight turns. Pull throughs are at the back of the park by mobile homes that they rent out. We had no issues with any of the hook ups, everything worked good. Park was very quiet. Very nice Duck Pond with lots of ducks that were fun to watch, and they have paddle boats for summer fun. We paid $2.00 a day for WiFi, but it was a very strong signal which was very nice. Owners were very pleasant and very helpful. We would stay here again if working in the area.
This is a brand new RV park that isn't quite finished yet. We we're so glad to have found it. They have quite a few sites open and are opening more every day. We stayed here 4 weeks because of working in the area. We very much enjoyed our stay here. The staff is a great bunch of folks eager to please their customers. They have a nice big club house with a store in it that was very handy. You could even buy fresh cut T-Bone steaks from it. Nice pavilion in the back, stocked pond in front of park with two fountains in it. Nice paved roads and pads with patios, well lighted at night. We didn't use the restrooms, but did check them out, very nice and very clean. Nice laundry facilities. The best part was all the trees they left in the park, but are very well trimmed so not to get in the way. They have a playground for children and a shuttle service to area attractions which we thought was nice. There is traffic noise since it is beside I-44 and I-35, but didn't bother us because it was such a nice change from where we we're staying before. We will stay here again when in the area.
We really liked this campground. Nice big sites. You have to fill up your tanks with water because faucets are shared by everyone, but wasn't a big problem. Lots of people catching trout here. We camped here over Easter weekend so it was very busy, but you were constantly seeing a ranger driving through. Very friendly at the camp office. Nice little river running right through the campground. Fish hatchery where the kids could feed the fish, nice little store for all your fishing needs and a big lodge. You have to go outside of the campground so the kids can play at the playground though and the street you cross is very busy. Nice swimming pool in campground area 1 and a nature center in campground area 3.
Nice RV park. We went to a rally here and really enjoyed ourselves. Very friendly people who run this place. Nice shuttle service to area attractions, social halls for big groups. Our Wifi at our site had a very good signal. We had a back in site, but it was plenty big enough for our 37' 5th wheel. Nice quite setting with nice views. Most sites are shaded which was a nice plus. We would definitely come back to this RV park.
If all your going to do is pull in and sleep, then this park is ok. Big huge parking lot with some trees. Sites are pretty close together. Staff isn't overly friendly. Laundry facilities work good. They don't watch what comes into their park. We had people coming and knocking on our doors trying to sell stuff. The pool didn't look like anything that I wanted to swim in, didn't look very clean. They say they have WiFi, but if your not parked right behind their office your not getting it. It is easy access on and off I-40 and to eating places, Walmart, Camping World, etc...
