This was our fourth year here. Campsites and facilities were just fine. It rained very hard the first two days but the sites were well engineered and drained quickly. Ambiance and scheduled events were slipping. The owner told us he may not accommodate tent campers in the future as they are "more trouble then they are worth" and we were visited by several really strange campers that put us ill at ease, so we may forgo this site in the future. I believe it is great for the trailer campers, but not right for those of us in tents.

This was our first time at this campground, first time in New York for that matter. We were very surprised and pleased. All amenities for tent camping were excellent, rest rooms and showers, sites, etc., were very clean and orderly. The Resort amenities were better than any other camp ground we have been at. Pavilion, pools, bar, restaurant, etc., were much better than expected. Finally, the Adirondacks, and Lake George are a very beautiful part of the country. From Lake George Village to Fort Ticonderoga, there is plenty of eye candy, shopping, and restaurants. Finally, we were not scalped for everything, something we come to expect on the East coast. I highly recommend this campsite/resort and we will return soon.

Third year here. Has been improving from year to year. Unfortunautely, their main building burnt down off season. On the good side, the new buildings are, well, newer. They are upgrading the shower/toilet facilities. Very quiet and peaseful, prior to the July fourth weekend. All was clean and orderly, and staff was even more friendly than last year. Will return again before the end of this season.

First, and in my wife's opinion, foremost, this campsite has the best restrooms we have run into. We tent camp so this is very important to us. Cleanliness, showers too, and location was top notch. The roads can be a little treacherous, expecially if you are camping on the hill and are moving around at night. The sites in the woods are quite large and the services close at hand. The pond was, well, a pond. Kids loved it. The Mystic River is an excellent trout and crabbing river, an unusual combination, but it is there,on the campgrounds. Camp staff is very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of seasonals, very well kept, but we had little contact with them as most campers on the hill were itinerants. We will return in 08.

We spent a short weekend at this campground. The weather was damp and so were our spirits. The campground seemed to cater to seasonal campers. There were plenty of activities, but we really did not seem welcome. Rules were posted everywhere, including over the facilities in the restrooms. We were a bit put off by these in your face threats of expulsion should you break a rule. We were there with another camping couple who had the same feeling. By the end of the weekend, it was clear that the seasonals completely disregard the rules, verge on resentment of us weekenders, and can be downright rude. The staff and facilities themselves, standing on their own, would rate a 8 to 9, but the bad vibes pulled it down to a 6. There are plenty of other good campsites in this neck of the woods, so it is unlikely we would return.

This campground, staff and facilities, was very friendly. The entrance was a bit confusing, but the staff made up for it. Bathrooms and showers in the wooded area, were rustic but clean. On-site there were plenty of activities, especially great horseshoe tournaments with some local "ringers" that make it very challanging. It can get a little noisy at night though. Off-site attractions locally, were sparse. We were within reasonable distance to some great wineries and the casinos. We will return at least twice this year.
