A very nice state park with a lot to see. The beach, and old military base, and town are all within easy access. A great place for kids and adults with lots of places to walk and ride bikes. The old military installations and museums are great. The lower (beach), campground can be very windy, so watch your canopy. The upper campground has much less wind and a lot less noise.

Great campground. Tall trees and lots of space between sites. Some narrow roads between trees and some narrow site entrances. Sites do not have sewer dumps. Need a "blue tank" or disconnect and go to on-site sewer dump. Great walking trails, waterfront, and local farmer's markets.

Great state park with easy walking access to the ocean. Short drive to attractions in Ocean Shores. Camp sites are getting a little run down and need to be upgraded.

One of our favorite state parks to camp in both Oregon and Washington States. Great access to the beach and miles of bike/walking trails. Lots of attractions at Fort Stevens and it's military museum. Short drive to Astoria, Seaside, and Cannon beach. Large grocery/retail stores within a 10 minute drive. Camp sites can be muddy when it rains.

Very basic campground a few blocks from city center and the Washington State University campus. Gravel lot with some shaded sites. Tent area has portable toilets. Most sites are 30 amp, some are only 20 amp service. Seems to be the only RV campground in the immediate area.

Very nice clean park. The staff is very friendly and customer oriented. Staff provided information regarding wineries in the area. Not much shade, trees are still young. We will return to this park again.

Lots of rules in the park and around the pools. Very clean park. We will go back to this park. They give you a watering schedule for the grass and you will need to remove anything you do not want to get wet. We paid the Good Sam rate.

Very good RV Resort on the east side of Vancouver Island. Sites are on long term lease and you rent on a nightly basis a site that is not occupied by the owner for the time you plan on staying. Sites by the ocean are great if you can get one. Words of caution: Water pressure is 100 PSI, bring your water pressure regulator. Wind can sometimes pick-up, watch your canopy. Even though this RV Resort has several rules to make your stay more pleasant, they have trouble enforcing them. A rig pulled into the site next to ours the wrong way which put their door opening directly into our campsite. Their door was open all the time and they played their TV very loud making it impossible to sit outside. We complained to the management, but the offenders did not move their rig and we had to deal with the problem for 5 days. Even though they have security patrolling the grounds, they totally missed the fact that several dog owners were not picking up after their dogs in the dog walk area.

This is what I call a 50/50 campground. If you do not select the right camp site you could find yourself in a narrow unlevel site with weeds instead of grass, or you could be in level site with lots of room and green grass. The pool is small, any more than 10 people and there is no room to move around. The roads are all gravel and are dusty when dry and muddy when wet. The picnic table at our site was ready to fall apart. The campsite next to us had a dog that continuously did it's business right if front of our trailer. Even after several complaints from us and other campers, the campground management was not able to get the problem solved and did not boot out the offending campers. The mini golf is a joke. I cannot believe they actually charge for that. The campground is by highway 101 and you can hear the road noise if you are at that end of the campground. The good news: the store is ok, fairly good supplies and there is a good variety of videos and dvd movies that you can rent at two dollars each. In general this campground is starting to look run down and it is obvious the owners are not putting in any more than a minimum effort to keep it going. We will not camp here again.

Great state park. Large sites, lots of grass, large area for a tent at the campsite. One of our favorite state parks. Sites closer to the Columbia river can get windy, so watch your canopy.

We have stayed at this park a couple of times and found it to be OK. This park has the potential to become a great RV resort if they would make it kid friendly by adding a swimming pool and a recreation/game room. The owners also need to give consideration to the seasonal/permanent residents who are letting their campsites get junky.
