Best time I have ever had at a campground (with my clothes on!) Fantasy Fest 2007! The staff was great and really got into the festivities. The sites were tight, but once we got in, we didn't have to move the MH again. The park was very clean and well maintained and there was a bus to the beach, downtown and all the places we wanted to go. We left the kids at home, but will definitely be coming back during the school holidays. Expensive but worth every penny.
Definitely a place you can go and stay a week and keep the whole family entertained. Kids loved the huge playground, pool, gameroom and other kids activities. Trail ride was great. Lots of staff, very attentive. The christian student group interacted well with the kids. Some people said they could even see some of the fireworks from their campsites. We will be back.
Just passing through, and it was easy to get to off the interestate. New park, only about 10 years old and well maintained, but the area doesn't have much to offer. Kids kept busy at the pool and small playground, but the gameroom was a table, two chairs and a foosball table.
Most expensive park we stayed during the entire trip, but clean and well maintained. The bugs got bad down by the river in the evening, and although the sound of the trains screeching around the turn on the tracks was annoying in the evening, the AC drowned out the sound the rest of the night. Very picturesque otherwise and we would definitely return.
A little concerned by the steepness of the dirt roads at first, but our site had a great view once we got settled in. It did require backing up about 100 feet to get to the site. Didn't notice the train noise as others have posted, but it was hot and we had the AC going. Certainly an adequate place to stay as you are passing through.
Very easy to find off I-25, and the barbecue was absolutely fantastic. Don't forget the homemade pies! Family owned and operated and very well maintained. Stayed at Terry Bison Ranch when we came back for Frontier Days, but this place would have been closer. Our 25 foot Cruise America had no problem with the size of the site.
Very disappointing! Staff more interested in selling rafting trips than campsites, and not particularly friendly. Showers small and outdated, and only functional for people under 5 feet tall. Whitewater rafting trip was excellent however, you didn't have to stay here for that. Overpriced and located a ways out of town and all the other activities.
