There is easy access from the freeway to this park but signage is poor and it's easy to miss the turn once you pass the casino. The park is far enough away from the freeway to eliminate any traffic noise. Sites are not especially large but are adequate for an overnight and are a bargain at $21. It is only a short walk to the casino, and there is also a shuttle that runs every few minutes. This is a convenient place to stop as there is also a nice truck stop at the same exit.
We stay at this park any time we're traveling through this area. It has easy access to the freeway without the road noise and the park itself is nearly perfect in every way. Very large level sites, squeaky clean facilities, nice landscaping that is well tended and friendly staff that escorts you to your site. And if you must go shopping, Wal Mart is across the street!
This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed in in our 40 years of RVing. Most sites are shaded and there are huge swaths of lush green grass between sites. You can still have a campfire at this park, and it is very kid friendly, with a nice playground and safe places to ride bikes. The Wenatchee River runs right beside the park. The only negative is the proximity of a very busy highway on one side of the park and the railroad tracks across the river, both of which may be a problem for light sleepers.
This park is close enough to the freeway for easy access but far enough away so there is no road noise. There is also gas and diesel at the same exit. The park sits in a grove of trees and has grass between the sites, which are surprisingly level, and long enough so we didn't have to unhook. The restrooms and laundry are squeaky clean and the store is attractive and well stocked with basics. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
This was a great park for an overnight stop! Easy freeway access, a Flying J at the same exit and the park itself was very clean and well tended with level sites. Paying on the honor system was a nice touch and keeps the rates low. We did not use the laundry or restrooms but the building they are housed in is a bit shabby and there was an unpleasant odor around the restroom area. We will definitely camp here again if in the area.
