Cable is poor...static, water was a light brown...had to go buy a filter. Internet was very slow...2 bars and took a while to log on and occasionally got kicked off due to weak signal. Tight for our 36 foot motor home. The view was good but didn't see any Beluga Whales (maybe too early in the year)?
Had great views of the water, the quaint town was great, shopping and food good too. Activity at the fishing docks were interesting. In the campground the Wi-Fi was not so good! Pretty much the reason why we left for another RVP. Employees were very nice and accommodating for our early departure. Still would recommend it if you don't need internet connection or don't want to pay the high price.
I would highly recommend this park. For one thing the view is spectacular, we were in a site 4 from the water. The Wi-Fi is fantastic compared to what we had at Homer Spit, you get right on to the web with no problem. Laundry is great. Didn't use the restroom or showers, so no comment about that. The staff is very nice. We had a not-so-good experience with the Trolley, the man that was called to fill in wasn't what we expected, so they gave us a free ride with the man that was their normal driver. Also, they had a 4th of July celebration at the park, (rain or shine). It was a pot luck, so everyone brought a side dish and they provided deep fried halibut, hamburgers, and hot dogs will all of the fixings. Also they had a raffle (no cost) and many of us received gifts. Very much a family setting, even in the rain. I would recommend this place to anyone.
