As previous reviewer stated, beautiful, well-landscaped park. Large sites and some are positioned to allow satellite TV reception. Good 50 amp power though our EMS dropped us offline once due to a frequency problem. No Verizon wireless service of any type available. (4G at Elkins resort - 3 miles away) Pay shower ($5). Restrooms are located in the bar. Good food at the restaurant. Would stay here again.

In appearance this is a somewhat rundown park in need of a lot of TLC but utilities are fine. WiFi was weak. Most sites are reasonably level, but most here use a leveling system or leveling blocks. Good for a night stop or as a destination if you have business in the area. We come about twice a year due to family & friends in the area. For big rigs (we are one), we've learned to ask for a "satellite TV" site which keeps you away from trees. Some work has been done to the roads, but they are still a bumpy ride. It looks like they are re-graveling the sites as weather and occupancy allow. The staff is fine. We camped here in a 5th wheel.

Nice, large resort campground and RV park with the Disney flavor. Our price reflects a premium site rate including all taxes. We've found the comfort stations are back up to the level of repair that we're use to seeing in Disney resorts. Like the previous poster, we didn't see Wi-Fi but after a closer review of our paper work, Wi-Fi is suppose to be available at certain locations and at additional costs. We spent our 16 days here in the 1400 loop. Verizon 4G coverage available, but the data connection is somewhat unstable. We experienced at least 2 days where the data connection was down for three or more hours at a time. If nothing else, visit this time of year to see the RVers' personal Christmas decorations at their sites!

Really nice campground for overnight stays. Close to interstate. Easy in/out. When we arrived, the campground's roads and sites appear to be recently graded. Makes for very dusty conditions when someone drives through and thwarts any plan to take advantage of a nearby truck wash to have your rig or tow vehicle washed. Good power, good water, numerous cable channels, big rig friendly. We'd recommend you try to get a site away from the entrance road. It appears most everyone forgets that they're no longer on I-90/I-94 when they first arrive.

Probably the best place in the area to park a big rig and have full hookups. Actually a pretty nice, but older campground. One restroom/shower combo each for male & female. Men's restroom wasn't kept all that clean, but functional (reason for the low "6" rating). Sites narrow, but paved and good grass between sites. Good 50 amp power, water and sewer. All sites are pull-through. Would return again if in the area.

A really nice Escapees SKP Co-op Park about 2 hrs from Yosemite Valley. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice sites & campground. Posting to inform full-timers like us that you cannot use your RV clothes washer at the park. Laundry is excellent for such a large park. Quarters available from the front desk during working hours. Bring liquid detergent, too - no power detergent in the laundry. Rate reflects a monthly rate and includes an estimate for electric.

Just an update. Park is generally the same as stated in the 2009 post, below. Restrooms were clean and had showers. You share the restrooms with the landscaping company.

We found this to be a nice campground if you're visiting friends/family in/around High Point. Sites in sections A & C aren't level. In section A, we had shared water and electric. Each site has it's own sewer located in the back of the site. Plan accordingly and you'll be fine. Good utilities. They do accept reservations certain times of the year and for groups of 10 or more, so call ahead & check. Staff very helpful. Price reflects rate during the spring "Furniture Market" period.

While it doesn't have paved sites, we thought it deserved a "10". It's a nicely laid out campground with room for big rigs, good water, good power, Wi-Fi worked, etc. Bring kids, bikes, dogs, and radio controlled boats if you them. Excellent shuttle to/from Charleston. A little challenging to find. We believe the directions provided on the campground receipt give you the best chance to miss tree limbs. The rate reflects Good Sam discount.

Really nice campground. While I rate it a 9, there's tons of stuff to do and the bath houses are a 10. Beware that at this time, Fruitville Road is under construction and you have to enter the campground through the campground entrance which makes for some narrow lanes as you maneuver back to the original entrance lanes and welcome center. Consequently, entering without running up against a curb is pretty sporting, but can be done. In the area where we're located, there are some side-by-side water hook-ups, so come prepared with plenty of water hoses.

Nice campground with older facilities, but recommend people avoid sites E-6 and E-7 due to the overwhelming quantity of bird droppings. At the moment E-7 looks to have a long term resident. If you choose E-6, try to position your rig as close to the front of the site so that you minimize the number of limbs your rig is under. The earlier warnings of tight turns and unusual entry should be heeded, but they are manageable. Strong air card & cell phone signal here. You can hear the firing range, but it's not bothersome. Great entertainment watching the radio controlled aircraft.

Nice campground and very accommodating staff/owners. To echo the previous review, this campground sits in a valley below I-95. Air card and cell phone service vary, limited to non-existent. The campground Wi-Fi is low band width only making it only good for light email service. You're better off traveling a few miles north on US Route 1 and sitting in the Starbucks for internet service. Price posted reflects a 50 amp FHU site with KOA discount.

Concrete paved sites on the side of a hill. They've done a good job to give you a level area on which to park your rig. You probably will have an incline to get in/out of your site. Beware that the sewer will probably be at the back of your rig, too. We noted one unit which had it's entrance at the back street-side of the unit which put the steps right on top of the sewer. Strong Wi-Fi when we were here (stronger than our air card). Next time we visit, we're going to the amusement park.

Nice campground. When we visited, there was a significant amount of road construction. This campground called us to advised of the detour which we really appreciated. We'll visit again.

We felt a little better about this campground that the previous reviewer. Our bedroom was away from the interstate, so the noise didn't bother us. Plus, we were able to get under a large shade tree. Be sure to check out the family restrooms when here, even if you don't use them. Really nice facility for a family. Be aware when approaching west bound. It's a pretty sharp right-hand turn. OK with a big 5th wheel, but not for 40+ ft MH. We'll stop there again.

We camped here 15 years earlier when it was a KOA and was impressed. If anything, it's improved in those 15 years though it's no longer a KOA. Another pleasant, well-landscaped campground that reminds me of a Nat. Park setting. When we're back in the Boston area, we stay here again. Worst part for us was traveling good, old rough I-495 around Boston!

Well landscaped campground. Not a lot of restrooms and showers, but all in great condition. If coming with a big rig, call first and ensure you can fit. We plan to come back and spend a week.

Ensure you bring cash - no credit cards accepted. 50 amp sites not located near Ocean/bay. Some of the best sites are water/electric only. Second time to camp here and we'll be back.

Nice stop-over type campground. Restrooms older, but clean and functional. Last 1.5 miles to the campground is good, dirt/gravel road. Definitely caters to long-term campers. Best chance at getting a level site is to ask for full hookups.
