There were very few good sites to camp on. Sites in back of park were horrible. There were no full hookups. Very pricey for what they offer. Lake was very clean to swim in, and there was a nice playground. Two dogs maximum on site, and they charge you $5.00 a night extra for the second dog. Never heard of such a thing in all my years of camping. The sites we had were right next to pit toilets, not flush toilets. The camp store was very nice.
A group of us camped at this campground. The sites were hard to navigate. We couldn't tell where the boundaries were. The electric was horrible. We had to figure out where it was, and then discovered it was way up on a pole and had to share with four sites and only had one 30 amp. The rest were regular house plugs. It kept blowing breakers. We had to share the water, too. There should be water and electric on all sites, but there wasn't. The lake was disgusting. We couldn't swim with all the seaweed in it. The store had very little in it. The swim lake was so far away you had to drive to it. The bathrooms were not clean at all. We will never go here again and do not recommend this campground to anyone.
Check in was good. Our site was very small and cramped next to one another. There was nowhere to have a fire; the fire rings were too close to the camper. The roads were very narrow and one way only. We couldn't back into our spot without blocking the road, and we had to park our vehicle sideways in front of our trailer on the edge of the road. Camp store had very little in it. Game room if that’s what you want to call it had literally nothing in it. Nothing really to do at this campground except swim. It is a very small campground and had very strict on checkout time. It is a very pet friendly campground. Waste bags and trash cans are provided throughout the park for pets. The flies were horrific.
