This campground is clean and well-maintained. The w/e sites are spread out and you have plenty of room for dogs and kids. Do not go to the restaurant on premises (Farone's)! The service is terrible and the food is over-priced. Campground is quiet and convenient to Geneva-on-the-lake. The pools are very clean and the adults-only pool is a nice touch for those that do not have children. There is a nicer miniature golf course in Geneva-on-the-Lake so we didn't use the campground's. It rained hard the one night and the campground drained nicely. The w/e sites are great for big rigs, but the full- hook-up sites were crowded.
This campground is small, friendly and clean. They were putting in new sites when we stayed there. The campground is so quiet that you cannot even hear anything at night. The pool was clean and the camp store was convenient. We were impressed by the drive-through gate for safety. We enjoyed the pancake breakfast and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
We were attracted to this campground because of its flashy ad. This is a nice campground with lots of shady lots, but it is very impersonal. We had a problem navigating the streets because some of the streets do not coincide with the map of the campground. We were also shocked that the waterslide is $1.00 a ride or you can purchase a wristband for the day. The waterslide was okay, but not worth the money. The pools were very clean, though. You do have to have bikes or a car to get around the park. I would probably stay at another campground if we go back to Gettysburg. This campground is outside of town, but it is convenient to stores and the town of Gettysburg
This is a nice, well-maintained campground. The shuttle bus service is extremely convenient to Hershey Park. We used the service all throughout our visit. We had a great site at the end of a row, so that we could have space for our two dogs. We did not have time to use the pools, but they looked clean, but crowded. We did hear the train, but our site was farther away, so it was not so bad. If you do go to this campground, be sure to ask for a site away from the office. The sites next to the office and pool area (facing right as you drive in) are extremely crowded!
We camped here with our class C on the way to Gettysburg. This is one of the nicer campgrounds that we have experienced. The staff was very friendly and the camp store was big and even had a little snack bar. The sites were very spacious and shady. The pool was clean and well-maintained with a lifeguard on duty. The lake was very close for fishing. This is a nice family-friendly park.
This campground was very clean and neat. We had plenty of room for our Class C and our two dogs and children. The staff was very friendly. They are affiliated with Mohican Livery and Fun Center, so we also canoed with them. There is a pizza place and a laundry that is right next to the campground. The Fun Center has a clean, well-maintained miniature golf course and go-kart track. The indoor pool and spa are almost new and both were very clean as were the restrooms and showers. We were also impressed by the cleanliness of the tent sites.
This was our first camping experience with our new Class C. This campground is very family-oriented. We enjoyed the weekend activities, like Karaoke and we liked the pancake breakfast that was offered on Sunday. The kids liked the camp store and the hay ride. The campground was clean and well-maintained. If you are looking for a true family place, then this is the campground for you.
We stayed here because the campground's ad in Ohio Camper, promises many fun things for campers. The campground was poorly maintained and there were only a few spots for overnight campers. In fact, our spot had been promised to another family, when the check-out wasn't until 3:00 pm for us. That family arrived at 10:00 am and had to wait for us to pack up. The water slides were enjoyable, but the water park didn't have much for older non-swimmers. My son is 9 and he didn't want to jump off the diving boards. The rings and slide at the beach are definitely safety hazards because the metal steps are slippery. The indoor pool facility looked newer and was better maintained than the outdoor stuff. We were very disappointed in the miniature golf area. We had to use golf balls and the course was dirty and needs to be repaired. My husband also was stung by a wasp because the hook-ups are too close to a tree. This campground needs to update their whole facility, and keep things in better shape!
