There seems to be some long termers, and the majority of the rest were overnighters on the way to Florida. Close to highway and pull through sites for those that did not want to unhook the tow. Pool was nice and the park was clean. If you want satellite, then pick sites with no trees. Would stay again for an overnight stop.

This park is wonderful. Watch the barges all day while you use the free laundry. There is a pond for fishing, a separate waterfront for motorhomes and one for fifth wheels. Lots of open space. Sites were level and they pick up your trash a couple of times daily. Had trees for shade in the motorhome section, but still was able to get satellite. The kids loved it. Not very far at all to Graceland and Rendezvous BBQ. Will definitely stay again.

I would say the majority of the people are long termers. The sites are plenty big. Not that many sites available for short stays but all the long termers kept their sites clean and some of them had very nice motorhomes. Easy driving to downtown St. Louis. Close to grocery stores and shopping.

The staff at this campground was very friendly and helpful. It is one of those parks that has no big trees, all sites level, gravel and a little dusty when someone drove by your site. Biking distance to Cracker Barrel. The kids could bike to an arcade and the road it is on did not have a lot of traffic. Distance to Mammoth Caves was minimal. There is a lot of train traffic and every once in a while you could hear the horn.

This park is very shaded and on top of a mountain. There are many bike and walking trails and a nice lookout point to see the city from above. There is also an observatory for watching stars which was open Saturday night. Overall it is a great park, except I kept tripping the 30 amp fuse on the box, and the few sewer sites available are not reservable. I would stay here again.

It is a very established community that felt like its own town with the country club and church and security. Pretty empty during the summer and you could play golf for $25 all day. They are serious about not letting the kids out of your site. Left one child at well stocked fishing pond to go get the other kids and when i got back the security man was there. He was very nice but stated the importance to the homeowners for kids to be with an adult at all times. Nice lots and nice bike ride around the course. Nice staff. Would stay here again if we did not have children.

Very clean park amongst a bunch of plant nurseries. All grass lots that I saw. Several tent camping areas. You could pick avocado's if they had fallen from the trees. The pool is very nice with a hot tub next to it. Big permanent umbrellas by the pool kept you cool. Well stocked store but restaurants are not open during the summer. My GPS took me through some pretty skinny neighborhood roads with low hanging branches to get to this park from the Keys. Felt very safe but would recommend eating at the campground as it can get shaky if you do not know where you are going to find a restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the southernmost KOA, our first KOA experience and it was a good one. It was not crowded at all during our visit but I felt you had plenty of room between motorhomes. The park is very clean and there is a well stocked store including bait for the kids to fish on the old bridge. The swimming area was a favorite for the kids due to the blow up things in the water. The pool is very clean and the pub has good wings and pizza. The restaurant across the street is great and you can get it to go if you need to. We would definitely stay here again.

We almost canceled our reservation when we saw the reviews here but we are glad we did not. We stayed on one of the waterfront lots (215 or 216) and we got here on a Sunday night. I think it is pretty busy on the weekends. There is a largely Hispanic long term residential population at the front of the park but I felt very safe. The pool is still under construction but I saw people working on it and estimate it being done within 60 days. Staff was very helpful. Have never had a site with a better sunset view and the kids could fish right off the back of the site. Would definitely stay here again during the week.

This is a very clean park with nice staff and a neat store. Right next to the highway and has pull-throughs for easy overnight stop. Would definitely stay here again for a stopover.
